TL;DR: The special issue of the Journal of Macromarketing (JMM) as discussed by the authors is a special issue devoted to the discussion of ideology and marketing, and it includes three refereed articles and four invited commentaries.
Abstract: Discussions of ideology are akin to walking a tightrope, especially in a discipline that largely views itself as nonideological, but whose concepts are used to advance ideas and ideologies of all kinds. Through three insightful refereed articles and four invited commentaries, this special issue of the Journal of Macromarketing manages to walk the tightrope, even though the balance bar lurches dangerously to one side and then to the other. As the special issue editors, in this introductory essay, we set up the context for discussions of ideology and marketing, provide some of our views, and then introduce the seven contributions via brief previews.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors attempt to spur the imagination of the research community by revealing several anomalies in the broad pattern of data visible in cross-border acquisitions by Indian firms and the many merits of exploring its nuances.
Abstract: The rising phenomenon of crossborder acquisitions by emerging multinational companies from India provides a real time opportunity for scholars to unearth its distinctive character. Yet, going by the limited scholarly material documenting this phenomenon, there appears to be gap between practice and academia. The authors attempt to spur the imagination of the research community by revealing several anomalies in the broad pattern of data visible in crossborder acquisitions by Indian firms and the many merits of exploring its nuances. Using the Indian case as an exemplar of emerging economy context and analyzing some of the stylized aspects of the available data, the paper uncovers the numerous research questions that arise and thus provide an agenda for future research.

TL;DR: In this paper, two-level fractional factorial designs are considered under a baseline parameterization and the criterion of minimum aberration is formulated in this context and optimal designs under this criterion are investigated.
Abstract: Two-level fractional factorial designs are considered under a baseline parameterization. The criterion of minimum aberration is formulated in this context and optimal designs under this criterion are investigated. The underlying theory and the concept of isomorphism turn out to be significantly different from their counterparts under orthogonal parameterization, and this is reflected in the optimal designs obtained.
