20 Sep 2002TL;DR: In this paper, expandable cross linked polymeric microparticles having an unexpanded volume average particle size diameter of from about 0.05 to about 10 microns and a cross linking agent content of about 6,000 to less than about 9,000 ppm of labile cross linkers and from 0 to about 300 ppm of non-labile cross-linkers, useful for modifying the permeability of subterranean formations and increasing the mobilization and/or recovery rate of hydrocarbon fluids present in the formations.
Abstract: A composition comprising expandable cross linked polymeric microparticles having an unexpanded volume average particle size diameter of from about 0.05 to about 10 microns and a cross linking agent content of about 6,000 to less than about 9,000 ppm of labile cross linkers and from 0 to about 300 ppm of non-labile cross linkers, useful for modifying the permeability of subterranean formations and increasing the mobilization and/or recovery rate of hydrocarbon fluids present in the formations.

16 Feb 1989TL;DR: In this article, a soap, a phosphorous containing compound, and an ethylene oxide-propylene oxide polymer were used for slicing or cutting silicon wafers for use in cutting silicon.
Abstract: A lubricating composition for use in slicing or cutting silicon wafers. The composition includes a soap, a phosphorous containing compound, and an ethylene oxide-propylene oxide polymer. The phosphorous compound is a low temperature, extreme pressure lubricant. The ethylene oxide propylene oxide polymer is a high temperature, extreme pressure lubricant. Suitable soaps include C6-C18 fatty acids reacted with triethanolamine or aminoethanolamine. Additionally, biocides or fungicides may be added. Also an antifoam and a complexing aid such as EDTA may be used.
