TL;DR: On the basis of phenotypic and chemotaxonomic characteristics, 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis and DNA-DNA hybridization data, strain HT27(T) is considered to represent a novel species of the genus Gulbenkiania, for which the name GulbenKiania indica sp.
Abstract: A novel bacterium, designated strain HT27(T), was isolated from a sulfur spring sample collected from Athamallik, Orissa, India, and was characterized by using a polyphasic approach. Cells were Gram-negative, strictly aerobic, rod-shaped and motile by means of a single polar flagellum. Strain HT27(T) was oxidase- and catalase-positive. Growth was observed at pH 5.0-11.0 and at 15-45 degrees C; the highest growth yield was observed at pH 7.5-8.0 and 30-37 degrees C. The G+C content of the genomic DNA of strain HT27(T) was 63 mol%. The major cellular fatty acids were C(16 : 1)omega7c (44.24 %), C(16 : 0) (27.65 %), C(18 : 1)omega7c (13.98 %), C(12 : 0) (2.60 %) and C(12 : 0) 3-OH (2.22 %). 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis indicated that strain HT27(T) clustered with the genus Gulbenkiania and showed 99.0 % similarity to Gulbenkiania mobilis E4FC31(T). However, the level of DNA-DNA relatedness between strain HT27(T) and G. mobilis E4FC31(T) was 30 %. On the basis of phenotypic and chemotaxonomic characteristics, 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis and DNA-DNA hybridization data, strain HT27(T) is considered to represent a novel species of the genus Gulbenkiania, for which the name Gulbenkiania indica sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is HT27(T) (=DSM 17901(T) =JCM 15969(T)).

30 May 2000TL;DR: In this paper, an inverse emulsion polymer composition comprising a copolymer or copolymers salt of N, N,N,dimethylacrylamide and 2-ACrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid or acid salts thereof, having a Brookfield viscosity of less than 20,000 Cps at 23° C and an active polymer concentration of about 25 to about 75 weight percent.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an inverse emulsion polymer composition comprising a copolymer or copolymer salt of N,N,-dimethylacrylamide and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid or acid salts thereof, having a Brookfield viscosity of less than 20,000 Cps at 23° C and an active polymer concentration of about 25 to about 75 weight percent. The inverse emulsion polymer composition is in a hydrocarbon with a primary surfactant and optionally contains water.

TL;DR: The data of this study suggest that MLST can be used to study population structure and diversity among S. haemolyticus isolates, irrespective of sources and place of isolation.
Abstract: The aim of this study was to determine sequence types of 34 S. haemolyticus strains isolated from a variety of infections between 2013 and 2016 in India by MLST. The MEGA5.2 software was used to align and compare the nucleotide sequences. The advanced cluster analysis was performed to define the clonal complexes. MLST analysis showed 24 new sequence types (ST) among S. haemolyticus isolates, irrespective of sources and place of isolation. The finding of this study allowed to set up an MLST database on the PubMLST.org website using BIGSdb software and made available at http://pubmlst.org/shaemolyticus/. The data of this study thus suggest that MLST can be used to study population structure and diversity among S. haemolyticus isolates.

11 Oct 1991TL;DR: In this article, the tetra substituted phenylenediamines are used to provide oxygen scavenging capabilities, metal passivating capabilities, volatility, and may be formulated with other oxygen scavengers and other common treatment agents used in boiler waters.
Abstract: New oxygen scavengers for boiler waters have been discovered, which oxygen scavengers are based upon N,N,N',N'-tetra substituted phenylenediamines. These compounds provide oxygen scavenging capabilities, metal passivating capabilities, volatility such that condensate systems in an operating boiler are protected, and may be formulated with other oxygen scavengers and other common treatment agents used in boiler waters. The preferred tetra substituted phenylenediamines are N,N,N',N'-tetramethyl-1,4-phenylenediamines, or its precursors.

08 May 1985TL;DR: In this paper, a perturbed feedback control system for a process is presented, where a control response is applied to the manipulated variable by the feedback controller based on the value of the perturbed set point.
Abstract: CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A PROCESS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A perturbed feedback control system for a process. Inputs to the process include a feed stream and a manipulated variable. The manipulated variable is controlled by a feed-back controller. Measurements of a parameter measured "downstream" of the process are taken periodically and fed back to the controller. The feedback controller generates a control response on the basis of a comparison of the two most recent values of the downstream parameter. The comparison is made by calculating a perturbed set point which includes the values of the downstream parameter taken at the two most recent sampling periods. In a specific embodiment, the per-turbed set point also includes measurements of the most recent and receding values of the manipulated variable. A control response is applied to the manipulated variable by the feedback controller based on the value of the perturbed set point. The control system has been applied to optimize the feed rate of chemicals for sludge dewatering on a twin belt filter press.
