TL;DR: The results indicate the necessity of continual education on infection management, and that the most efficient timing for the education appears be for participants during their first pregnancy or after the woman has delivered her child.
Abstract: Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the knowledge and practice level of infection managements in child guar dians with respiratory infections after H1N1 diffusion of 2009. Methods: The data were collected during February and March 2010 using a selfreport questionnaire. The participants were 228 child guardians. Data were analyzed using frequency, per centage, means, SD, ttest, Ftest, Pearson correlation coefficients, and Cronbach’s alpha with the SPSS 17.0 program. Results: Mean age of the guardians and children were 37.8 years, 4.1 years respectively. For knowledge level of respiratory infec tions, hand washing method had the highest score and snuffles prevention method, the lowest. For practice level for respiratory infections, environmental hygiene management had the highest score and symptom management, the lowest. Infection man agement knowledge and practice level had a positively significant correlation in every area. Conclusion: The results indicate the necessity of continual education on infection management, and that the most efficient timing for the education appears be for participants during their first pregnancy or after the woman has delivered her child.

TL;DR: This paper identified the motivational factors for using athletes' Weibo accounts among Chinese sports fans and found that diversion, pass-time, athlete support, and technical knowledge were significantly and positively correlated with social media consumption while information, socialization, and fanship had no significant predictive effect.
Abstract: This study attempted to identify the motivational factors for using athletes’ SNS among Chinese sports fans.
The researchers posted a hyperlink of an online survey on a total of 8 Chinese Olympians’ SNS(Weibo) accounts
after obtaining the athlete’s approval. A total of 274 surveys were gathered from the visitors of SNS. Of the 274
surveys, 33 were discarded because of missing values. Confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling
revealed the following. Diversion, pass-time, athlete support, and technical knowledge were significantly and positively
related to social media consumption while information, socialization, and fanship had no significant predictive effect
on social media consumption

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a data subsidy scheme where the regulator offers a spectrum price discount to mobile network operators (MNOs) in return for imposing the responsibility of providing a predefined data amount to users free of charge.
Abstract: The mobile traffic explosion has caused spectrum shortage and polarization of data usage among users, which will eventually decrease user welfare (UW) in mobile communication services. Governments around the world are planning to make more spectrum available for mobile broadband use, and the key policy issue is to find an efficient spectrum allocation method that will improve UW. In this paper, we propose a data subsidy scheme where the regulator offers a spectrum price discount to mobile network operators (MNOs) in return for imposing the responsibility of providing a predefined data amount to users free of charge. To analyze the subsidy effect, we adopt the two-stage approach of Cournot and Bertrand competition and find a Nash equilibrium (NE) of the competition. An interesting observation is that the increase in UW does not involve MNO profit (MP) loss and that the increasing amount is higher than the regulator's expenses for implementing the data subsidy scheme. Most of the paper concerns the duopoly competition, which is finally extended to the general case.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the effects of the Smart reading program, Smartree, in an elementary English class and found that the use of a tablet PC based Smartree reading program had meaningful effects on both improvements of cognitive reading ability and changes in affective attitude.
Abstract: The Purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the Smart reading program, Smartree, in an elementary English class. Recently in Korea, the use of smart technologies in education has become an issue with the introduction of a new educational platform and increased social interaction between teachers and students. The Smart learning paradigm is converging with technology and social learning. This study examines an English reading method using smart technology and how it affects the improvement of elementary students’ reading ability, we also suggest effective reading methods related to Smart learning suitable for this new educational trend. The results showed that the use of a tablet PC based Smartree reading program had meaningful effects on both improvements of cognitive reading ability and changes in affective attitude.

TL;DR: In this paper, a method and apparatus for providing an integrated electronic program guide (EPG) is presented. But the method is not suitable for the use of a large number of input sources.
Abstract: Provided is a method and apparatus for providing an integrated electronic program guide (EPG). An image display apparatus may receive signals from a plurality of input sources via at least one port, may identify the plurality of input sources, may receive EPG information of each of the plurality of input sources, and may generate an integrated EPG by integrating the received EPG information. Using the integrated EPG, a user of the image display apparatus may select and view all the contents that are provided by the plurality of input sources, without a need to select a predetermined input source.
