31 Jul 2006TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose a distributed data processing method which defines a predetermined section of the boundary with an adjacent game zone as a buffer sector and flexibly controls a zone server, and a system thereof, wherein the zone server is connected to a client in accordance with a type that an indication area includes the buffer sector.
Abstract: A distributed data processing method which defines a predetermined section of the boundary with an adjacent game zone as a buffer sector and flexibly controls a zone server, and a system thereof, wherein the zone server is connected to a client in accordance with a type that an indication area includes the buffer sector. There is an effect that it is possible to provide a distributed data processing method by an online game server and a system thereof, in which a predetermined range based on the boundary with a game zone is defined as a buffer sector, and as a section of the buffer sector is included in an indication area, a user character connects a zone server of a game zone to which the user character moves next, to a client.

18 Dec 2009TL;DR: In this paper, a method and system for providing a search service to a bidirectional broadcasting terminal during program broadcasting is described. But it does not specify a search area for each user.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and system for providing a search service to a bidirectional broadcasting terminal during program broadcasting. The invention includes providing a search area for a search service on a screen of the broadcasting terminal in response to key input, providing a first search window to display a representative keyword automatically being as an input with a search word based on an identification of the program, providing a second search window adjacent to the first search window to display a program-related search word automatically being as an input with a completion form of a search word, and providing a third search window adjacent to at least one of the first or second search windows and to display a real-time hot-topic search word automatically being as an input. The second and third search windows to provide an extended pop-up window including a modified word of the search word displayed on the respective search window in response to a selection by a user.

01 Aug 2006TL;DR: An error management system for managing an error occurring in a client application includes a client terminal which intercepts an event, and collects error information and a crash dump file when the client application is abnormally terminated, and transmits the collected error information in a predetermined format via a network as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: An error management system for managing an error occurring in a client application includes: a client terminal which intercepts an event, and collects error information and a crash dump file when the client application is abnormally terminated, and transmits the collected error information and the crash dump file in a predetermined format via a network; and an error collecting server which receives the error information and the crash dump file from the client terminal, and stores the received error information and the crash dump file for each online service, the error collecting server being independent from an online service server that executes a server application providing a service in correspondence to the client application.

TL;DR: This work considers style transfer as a means of imposing diversity, with a paraphrasing correctness constraint that the target sentence must remain a paraphrase of the original sentence, and proposes a model that can generate more diverse and yet semantically consistent paraphrase sentences.
Abstract: The problem of generating a set of diverse paraphrase sentences while (1) not compromising the original meaning of the original sentence, and (2) imposing diversity in various semantic aspects, such as a lexical or syntactic structure, is examined. Existing work on paraphrase generation has focused more on the former, and the latter was trained as a fixed style transfer, such as transferring from positive to negative sentiments, even at the cost of losing semantics. In this work, we consider style transfer as a means of imposing diversity, with a paraphrasing correctness constraint that the target sentence must remain a paraphrase of the original sentence. However, our goal is to maximize the diversity for a set of k generated paraphrases, denoted as the diversified paraphrase (DP) problem. Our key contribution is deciding the style guidance at generation towards the direction of increasing the diversity of output with respect to those generated previously. As pre-materializing training data for all style decisions is impractical, we train with biased data, but with debiasing guidance. Compared to state-of-the-art methods, our proposed model can generate more diverse and yet semantically consistent paraphrase sentences. That is, our model, trained with the MSCOCO dataset, achieves the highest embedding scores, .94/.95/.86, similar to state-of-the-art results, but with a lower mBLEU score (more diverse) by 8.73%.

20 Apr 2007TL;DR: In this paper, a method and system for creating a search result list, which can simplify a system configuration by searching a single database for search information, and also can display search information on a plurality of display areas with only one keyword purchase, is presented.
Abstract: A method and system for creating a search result list, which can simplify a system configuration by searching a single database for search information, and also can display search information on a plurality of display areas with only one keyword purchase. According to the present invention, there may be provided a method and system for creating a search result list, which can differ from a conventional method and system of providing an individual database for each of display areas and thereby effectively managing search information, and can enroll a keyword in a single database according to one keyword purchase and thereby display search information on a plurality of display areas.
