TL;DR: The results suggest that adding ecabet sodium did not improve the H. pylori eradication rate significantly in standard lansoprazole-based triple therapy for H. Pylori and no significant difference was observed in the side effects experienced by the patients in the two treatment groups.
Abstract: Background/Aims: Ecabet sodium is used for treating gastric ulcers and gastritis. It exhibits a bactericidal effect against Helicobacter pylori by inhibiting bacterial urease activity. Thus, ecabet sodium has been suggested to improve the efficacy of the H. pylori eradication in patients with peptic ulcers. The aim of this study was to compare the H. pylori eradication rate of lansoprazole-based triple therapy versus lansoprazole-based triple therapy plus ecabet sodium. Methods: The subjects consisted of 363 H. pylori-positive patients who had undergone eradication therapy from February 2007 to February 2010. In total, 363 patients with H. pylori-positive peptic ulcer disease or symptomatic erosive gastritis received LAC (lansprazole 30 mg b.i.d., amoxicillin 1.0 g b.i.d., clarithromycin 500 mg b.i.d.) or LACE (lansoprazole 30 mg b.i.d., amoxicillin 1.0 g b.i.d., clarithromycin 500 mg b.i.d., ecabet sodium 1 g b.i.d.) for 1 week. Successful eradication was defined as a negative 13Curea breath test 4-5 weeks after treatment completion. Results: H. pylori eradication rates were 81.4% (166/204) in the LAC group and 86.2% (137/159) in the LACE group (p = 0.159). No significant difference in eradication was observed. No significant difference was observed in the side effects experienced by the patients in the two treatment groups. Conclusions: Our results suggest that adding ecabet sodium did not improve the H. pylori eradication rate significantly in standard lansoprazole-based triple therapy for H. pylori. TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the effects of IT industry on finance and insurance services and found that IT Service effects are more impact than IT hardware effects on finance service and insurance service.
Abstract: IT is based industry on finance and insurance services and is essential equipment of survival for competitive on market. The importance of IT industry on finance and insurance is bigger than other industries. So, This study examinate effects of hardware and software divided by IT industry on each 6 finance and insurances. Research models are production inducing effects of Demand -Driven model, Shortage effects of Supply-Driven model finally, Leontief's price model by using data for analysis is Input-Output table for 2000~2009.Results are that IT Service effects are more impact than IT hardware effects on Finance and Insurance Service. Especially, IT service's supply shortage effects is 0.0847KWR to produce 1KRW of finance and insurance service for 2-fold increase compared to 2000. In addition, Central Bank and banking institutions of finance and insurance services are the greatest impact from IT industry. These are which is increasing to interdependence between IT industry and finance and insurance service.

TL;DR: Twenty-eight subjects participated in this study (normal 14, FHP 14) and were resident in B city and were asked to breath maximally for FVC and repeatedly for MVV during 12 seconds.
Abstract: Twenty-eight subjects participated in this study (normal 14, FHP 14) and were resident in B city. The mean age, height and weight of subjects was 22.80yrs, 169.36cm and 62.79kg. Subjects were asked to breath maximally for FVC and repeatedly for MVV during 12 seconds. The variables of data were collected as follows: Forced Vital Capacity(FVC), Forced Expiratory Volume in One Second(FEV

TL;DR: In this article, a new loss function using speaker content representation for audio source separation is proposed, and the objective is to extract the target speaker voice from the noisy input and also remove it from the residual components.
Abstract: Content and style representations have been widely studied in the field of style transfer. In this paper, we propose a new loss function using speaker content representation for audio source separation, and we call it speaker representation loss. The objective is to extract the target speaker voice from the noisy input and also remove it from the residual components. Compared to the conventional spectral reconstruction, our proposed framework maximizes the use of target speaker information by minimizing the distance between the speaker representations of reference and source separation output. We also propose triplet speaker representation loss as an additional criterion to remove the target speaker information from residual spectrogram output. VoiceFilter framework is adopted to evaluate source separation performance using the VCTK database, and we achieved improved performances compared to the baseline loss function without any additional network parameters.

TL;DR: The results confirmed that acoustic scattering of jellyfish results in a significant change in their swimming pattern, and theoretical estimation indicated that the TS of giant jellyfish fluctuated until 8.5dB at 38kHz, 13.8dB at 70kHz, and 15.1dB at 120kHz based on changes in their swim patterns.
Abstract: Recently, wide spread distribution of the giant jellyfish, Nemopilema nomurai, has occurred in the East China Sea. This increased distribution has caused serious problems in inshore and offshore fisheries in Korea and Japan. As a result, it is necessary to evaluate the damage caused to the fisheries by jellyfish. Accordingly, several hydroacoustic studies have been conducted to estimate the target strength (TS) of the giant jellyfish. However, the effects of fluctuation in the acoustic scattering characteristics on swimming patterns have not yet been elucidated. Therefore, in this study, we theoretically estimated the effects of changes in the acoustic scattering pattern on the swimming behavior of jellyfish using the Distorted Wave Born Approximation (DWBA) model. The results confirmed that acoustic scattering of jellyfish results in a significant change in their swimming pattern. Specifically, our theoretical estimation indicated that the TS of giant jellyfish (d=40cm) fluctuated until 8.5dB at 38kHz, 13.8dB at 70kHz, and 15.1dB at 120kHz based on changes in their swimming patterns.
