30 Aug 2012TL;DR: In this article, a system and a method based on use information of an application obtained from a user terminal is presented, where at least one first application and a second application including a function of collecting the use information associated with the first application are installed, in conjunction with the second application.
Abstract: Provided is a system and method based on use information of an application obtained from a user terminal. With respect to a communication terminal in which at least one first application and a second application including a function of collecting the use information associated with the first application are installed, in conjunction with the second application, a server for providing a collecting unit to collect the use information collected from a user with respect to the first application, and a recommended application list with respect to the first application based on statistics of the use information.

TL;DR: A novel training method, Sequential Targeting (ST), is proposed, independent of the effectiveness of the representation method, which enforces an incremental learning setting by splitting the data into mutually exclusive subsets and training the learner adaptively.
Abstract: Text classification has numerous use cases including sentiment analysis, spam detection, document classification, hate speech detection, etc. In realistic settings, classification on text data confronts imbalanced data conditions where classes of interest usually compose a minor fraction. Deep neural networks used for text classification, such as recurrent neural networks and transformer networks, suffer from a lack of efficient methods addressing imbalanced data. Traditional data-level methods attempting to mitigate distributional skew include oversampling and undersampling. The oversampling methods destruct the quality of original language representation of the sparse data coming from minority classes whereas the undersampling methods fail to fully utilize the rich context of majority classes. We address such issues in data-driven approaches by enforcing continual learning on imbalanced data by partitioning the training data distribution into mutually exclusive subsets and performing continual learning, treating the individual subsets as distinct tasks. We demonstrate the effectiveness of our method through experiments on the IMDB dataset and constructed datasets from real-world data. The experimental results show that the proposed method improves by 56.38 %p on the IMDB dataset and by 16.89 %p and 34.76 %p on the constructed datasets compared to the baseline method in terms of the F1-score metric.

31 Mar 2016TL;DR: The results indicate that there is a need to improve nursing professionlism, self leader-ship, and Empowerment in nursing students and should be reflected in the development of ef-fective teaching methods for nursing education program.
Abstract: Purpose. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between nursing pro-fessionalism, self-leadership, and empowerment in nursing students.Methods. The participants were 226 nursing students. Data collected from November to December 2015 were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients. Results. The mean scores for nursing professionalism (3.03±0.41), self-leadership(3.04±0.35), and empowerment(3.13±0.46) were above average. nursing professionalism was significantly different ac-cording to health concern motivating for nursing. self leadership was significantly different accord-ing to grade, religion. empowerment was significantly different according to grade, health concern motivating for nursing. Significant correlations were found between nursing professionalism and self-leadership, nursing professionalism and Empowerment. Conclusions. The results indicate that there is a need to improve nursing professionlism, self leader-ship, and Empowerment. The above mentioned results should be reflected in the development of ef-fective teaching methods for nursing education program.

06 Sep 2012TL;DR: In this article, a terminal device for executing an application providing a search service is provided, which includes a first interface providing a code to display a first search interface corresponding to a text-based search on the touch sensing display, and a second interface providing an interface for displaying a second search interface on the display when a call interaction occurs between the two interfaces corresponding to recognition search is sensed in response to a touch input.
Abstract: A terminal device for executing an application providing a search service is provided. The terminal device may include a touch sensing display, one or more processors, and a memory. The application is configured to be stored in the memory and implemented by the one or more processors, and includes a first interface providing a code to display a first search interface corresponding to a text-based search on the touch sensing display, and a second interface providing a code to display a second search interface on the touch sensing display, when a call interaction of the second search interface corresponding to a recognition search is sensed in response to a touch input on the touch sensing display while displaying the first search interface.
