On-line advertising system and method

Abstract: The present invention relates to an on-line advertising system and method which can provide an advertisement related to predetermined content to a user through a wired/wireless communication network along with the content. An on-line advertising system according to the present invention comprises an advertisement database for maintaining advertisement data, a keyword related thereto and a category corresponding thereto; a content database for maintaining a content identifier for identifying content provided to a user terminal through a communication network, and a category related to the content; an advertisement data searching unit for searching the advertisement database for advertisement data corresponding to a category related to the content; an advertisement data selecting unit for selecting advertisement data from the searched advertisement data, based on a predetermined criterion, by using a keyword related to the searched advertisement data; and a display control unit for controlling the adopted advertisement data to be displayed on the user terminal in association with the content.

Case studies for the evaluation of interoperability between a bim based architectural model and building performance analysis programs

Abstract: Building performance analysis that uses Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies has been widely studied by the research community. Using BIM in building performance analysis can facilitate a more accurate and efficient analysis process. However, in order to perform a successful BIMbased building performance analysis, it is necessary to secure the interoperability between a BIM based architectural model and analysis programs. In this study, the interoperability between a BIM-based architectural model and performance analysis programs (EnergyPlus, eQUEST, Ecotect, IES ) is evaluated based on gbXML protocol. From the results of this study, this paper discusses suggestions for improving the interoperability.

Abstract: There are provided a keyword advertisement service method and a system including: a step of maintaining a search information database for storing at least one search listing in correspondence to a predetermined keyword; a step of receiving 5 information on predetermined bid participation cost in association with extracting the search listing from the advertiser; a step of extracting at least a part of the search listings corresponding to the keyword inputted for the search request; and a step of arranging the extracted search listings into a search result list by rolling the same and providing the search result list as a search result of the search request, wherein Step of extracting 0 at least the part of the search listings corresponding to the keyword inputted for the search request includes: a step of giving an extraction ranking to each of the search listings corresponding to the keyword based on the bid participation cost and a predetermined additional factor and a step of extracting search listings within a set-up ranking.

Rb2Na (NO3) 3: A Congruently Melting UV-NLO Crystal with a Very Strong Second-Harmonic Generation Response

Abstract: Crystals of congruently melting noncentrosymmetric (NCS) mixed alkali metal nitrate, Rb2Na(NO3)3, have been grown through solid state reactions. The material possesses layers with NaO8 hexagonal bipyramids and NO3 triangular units. Rb+ cations are residing in the interlayer space. Each NaO8 hexagonal bipyramid shares its corners and edges with two and three NO3 units, respectively, in order to fulfill a highly dense stacking in the unit cell. The NaO8 groups share their six oxygen atoms in equatorial positions with three different NO3 groups to generate a NaO6-NO3 layer with a parallel alignment. The optimized arrangement of the NO3 groups and their high density in the structure together produce a strong second-harmonic generation (SHG) response. Powder SHG measurements indicate that Rb2Na(NO3)3 has a strong SHG efficiency of five times that of KH2PO4 (KDP) and is type I phase-matchable. The calculated average nonlinear optical (NLO) susceptibility of Rb2Na(NO3)3 turns out to be the largest value among the NLO materials composed of only [NO3]− anion. In addition, Rb2Na(NO3)3 exhibits a wide transparency region ranging from UV to near IR, which suggests that the compound is a promising NLO material.
