31 Dec 2014TL;DR: In this paper, a reinforced concrete rahmen bridge damaged by the chloride attack was investigated, and the degraded concretes on cantilever kerb and end part were intensively observed.
Abstract: : In this study, the reinforced concrete rahmen bridge damaged by the chloride attack was investigated. According to the investigation, the degraded concretes on cantilever kerb and end part were intensively observed. Thus, the chloride content test and half-cell method were performed to evaluate the degraded parts. As a result, the contents of chloride on degraded parts were C and D grade. On the other hand, the half-cell potential values of rebar in degraded concrete were measured with the minor corrosion. This rebar corrosion is expected to progressing. Chloride content D grade is due to expansion pressure by corrosion of rebar and freeze-thaw by permeate water, could see progresses rapidly degradation. In order to prevent chloride attack to concrete deck caused by deicing salts, corresponding to the chloride critical concentration must maintain grade b or at least grade c. Chloride condition evaluation standard apply to evaluation of marine structure chloride attack with chloride attack by deicing salts.

TL;DR: The feeding habits of Lycodes tanakae Eelpout were studied with 722 specimens collected from March 2011 to December 2012 in the coastal waters of the middle East Sea.
Abstract: 【The feeding habits of Lycodes tanakae Eelpout were studied with 722 specimens collected from March 2011 to December 2012 in the coastal waters of the middle East Sea. The main prey of L. tanakae were fish, molluscs and arthropods. Nevertheless annelida, echinodermata and others were found in small amounts in the stomach contents. The L. tanakae stomach was empty of contents in 50.9% of specimens. While smaller size specimens of L. tanakae (less than 40 cm) fed mainly on euphausiids and amphipods, the larger specimens (more than 40 cm) fed on the fish Allolepis hollandi and Icelus cataphractus, and the molluscs Berryteuthis magister and Watasenia scintillans. The main prey items of L. tanakae varied seasonally. The fish Lycodes nakamurai was the dominat prey from November to January during its spawning season. Euphausiids and amphipods of the arthropods were the dominant prey from February to April. The molluscs Berryteuthis magister and Watasenia scintillans were the dominant prey from May to September. The diversity index (H') of diets showed variations by length class and month; the highest values were 2.61 in the length class of 51-55 cm, and the monthly highest were 2.68 in September with 23 species and 2.65 in November with 18 species. The highest dominance index (D') of diets was 0.57 in the length class of 31-35 cm, and the monthly highest was 0.71 in February. Cluster analysis divided prey groups into four groups by length class and three groups by monthly prey items. The gonad index gradually increased during the process of maturation while, contrary, stomach content index decreased during this period.】

Abstract: Disclosed is an online tournament game system including a game providing module configured to provide a game for a plurality of players that join a virtual game room during a predetermined game session, a first ranking determination module configured to compute a point value balance of each player based on result of game play committed by the players and to determine rankings of the players based upon the point value balance of each of the players during the first time period, and a player selection module configured to select and assign players for the second time period based upon the rankings of the players during the first time period. The predetermined game session includes a first time period and a second time period in a sequence. Each of the players either gains or loses a point value depending on result of their game play.

TL;DR: In this paper, the mediating effect of major satisfaction on the relationship between self-esteem and college adaptation in male nursing students was examined and the results indicated that the relationships among selfesteem, college adaptation, and major satisfaction were statistically significant.
Abstract: This study aimed to examine the mediating effect of major satisfaction on the relationship between self-esteem and college adaptation in male nursing students. Data were collected from 157 male nursing students at 3 universities located in North Gyeongsang Province and Daegu, from November 17 to December 1, 2014. Results indicated that the relationships among self-esteem, college adaptation, and major satisfaction were statistically significant. Additionally, major satisfaction partially mediated the relationship between self-esteem and college adaptation. Although self-esteem had a direct effect on college adaptation, students showed better college adaptation when major satisfaction was considered a mediating factor. Therefore, interventions that promote male nursing students’ self-esteem and major satisfaction should be developed and implemented so that it can be positioned in the nursing field of after supporting graduating adapt to college life nursing college it is necessary.
