TL;DR: Lim et al. as discussed by the authors examined the effectiveness of team-based learning (TBL) program according to learning attitude, learning motivation and self-directed learning of nursing students learning the anatomy.
Abstract: This sturdy examined the effectiveness of Team-Based Learning(TBL) program according to learning attitude, learning motivation and self-directed learning of nursing students learning the anatomy. A 12week TBL program which they were made small group as 6-7 students aimed at anatomy aspects was given 145 freshmen. Atriangulation that quantitative Research used paired t-test, Pearson Correlation Coefficient by SPSS WIN 18.0 and qualitative research was conducted content analysis. Through this subject, significant improvement was found in learning motivation(t=-2.97, p <.003) and self-directed learning(t=-2.40, p <.018). There was a significant positive correlation. TBL is useful teaching and learning method on nursing students. We suggest that it is needed to measurethe educational effects of TBL against other subjects. Keywords : Learning attitude, Learning motivation, Self-directed learning, Team-based learning. * Corresponding Author : So-Hee Lim(ShinSung Univ.) TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the relationship among smartphone addiction, parenting attitudes and resilience to identify the relevant factors affecting smartphone addiction and found that the parent attitude and resilience were negatively correlated with smartphone addiction.
Abstract: This study examined the relationships among smartphone addiction, parenting attitudes and resilience to identify the relevant factors affecting smartphone addiction. Data were collected from a total of 220 middle school students responding to questionnaires in G city and analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ANOVA, Scheff? test, Pearson coefficient correlation, and multiple regression. The results showed that the parenting attitude and resilience were negatively correlated with smartphone addiction. The significant factors affecting smartphone addiction were gender, the time of smartphone usage, parenting attitudes, and resilience. These variables explained 21.9% of smartphone addiction and the highest factor was the parenting attitudes, followed by gender, time of smartphone usage, and resilience. This study indicated that it is important to develop a program to ensure adolescents positively perceive parenting attitudes and increase their resilience to decrease the incidence of smartphone addiction.

17 Sep 2012TL;DR: The results showed that the experimental group experienced more significant increases than did the control group in terms of passive and active ROM of the ankle, gait velocity, and peak torque of the knee flexor, knee extensor, and ankle plantar flexor.
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ankle joint mobilization with movement (MWM) on the range of motion (ROM) in the ankle, on the muscle strength of lower extremities, and on spatiotemporal gait parameters in chronic hemiplegic patients. Fifteen subjects with chronic stroke were divided into two groups: an experimental group (8 subjects) and a control group (7 subjects). Both groups attended two or three sessions of physical therapy each week. The experimental group also attended additional MWM training sessions three times a week for five weeks. For both groups, the ROM of the ankle, the muscle strength of the lower extremities, and the spatiotemporal gait parameters in paretic limbs were evaluated before and after the training period. The results showed that the experimental group experienced more significant increases than did the control group in terms of passive (6.10%) and active (21.96%) ROM of the ankle, gait velocity (12.96%), and peak torque, of the knee flexor (81.39%), the knee extensor (24.88%), and the ankle plantar flexor (41.75%)(p

10 Jun 2010TL;DR: In this paper, a method for providing search results by using a previous query according to one embodiment of the present invention, which is able to provide the search results that coincide with the user's intention, comprises the steps of selecting as a second query one query among queries that are inputted before the input of a first query if the first query is inputted by the user.
Abstract: A method for providing the search results by using a previous query according to one embodiment of the present invention, which is able to provide the search results that coincide with the user's intention, comprises the steps of: selecting as a second query one query among queries that are inputted before the input of a first query if the first query is inputted by the user; generating a third query by using the first and second queries; and performing a searching process by using the third query to provide the generated search results to the user.

01 Sep 2006TL;DR: In this paper, a method of controlling a search controller includes monitoring a top level window which is activated on a top-level among applications in execution, determining whether the monitored toplevel window corresponds to a File Open dialog box, and attaching the search controller to the file open dialog box.
Abstract: A method of controlling a search controller includes: monitoring a top level window which is activated on a top level among applications in execution; determining whether the monitored top level window corresponds to a File Open dialog box; attaching the search controller to the File Open dialog box, when the monitored top level window is determined as the File Open dialog box; retrieving a file corresponding to a query which is inputted from a user via the search controller, and outputting a file search result list via the search controller, the file search result list including the retrieved file; receiving a selection on a particular file, which is included in the file search result list, from the user; and transmitting path information associated with the particular file to the File Open dialog box.
