TL;DR: The monitoring of medications in the selected farms revealed that formalin for the treatment of external parasites, such as scuticociliates, was the most commonly used drugs in the farms, and antibiotics, amoxicillin and florfenicol for streptococcosis, and oxytetracycline and neomycin expecting wide antibacterial spectrum, were frequently prescribed.
Abstract: The monitoring was performed to survey the mortalities and medications occurred in the inland aquaculture farms of olive flounder in South Korea from May to October, 2012. Both of the indirect inquiry for entire inland farms and the sample survey for selected farms were carried out. The aquatic organism disease inspectors, who have the national licenses for the diagnosis and prevention of aquatic organism diseases and have close relationship with the farms, investigated the rates and causes of mortalities according to the standard manual. The cumulative mortalities rate by the indirect inquiry on 565 farms, was calculated to 27.18%, and the mortalities rate by infectious diseases was 22.64%. Otherwise, the mortalities rate by sample survey on 60 farms was 25.50%, 19.33% of them were caused by infectious diseases. The high mortality rates were recorded by scuticociliatosis, non-infectious loss, streptococcosis, VHS, artificial eliminations, vibriosis and gliding bacterial disease. Streptococcosis and non-infectious mortality caused to serious loss in productivity and economy of the farms, because of their outbreaks in the flounder groups over 600 g. The monitoring of medications in the selected farms revealed that formalin for the treatment of external parasites, such as scuticociliates, was the most commonly used drugs in the farms. As the antibiotic medications, amoxicillin and florfenicol for streptococcosis, and oxytetracycline and neomycin expecting wide antibacterial spectrum, were frequently prescribed.

TL;DR: Partially biodegradable net pots (Bio/PA) are as effective as commercial net pots, yet uniquely allows a method of capturing Octopus minor without affecting the marine environment.
Abstract: Gillnets and net pots are made of synthetic fiber as polyester (PE) and polyamide (PA). These are often lost by heavy weather or trawling of the active fishing gears. Lost gears result in the ghost fishing because these are non-degradable in seawater and damage to spawning grounds or habitats. To address these problems, biodegradable nets composed of aliphatic polyester were developed. This study describes four types of biodegradable net pots for capturing Octopus minor in Southern Korea, which is an area associated with high rates of net pot loss. The fishing performance of the biodegradable pots was compared to that of commercial net pots. The net pot with a synthetic body and biodegradable funnel (PE/Bio) produced approximately 50% of the catch collected using a commercial net pot (PE/PA). Conversely, net pots with a biodegradable body and a synthetic funnel (Bio/PA) produced the same amount of catch as the commercial net pot. The completely biodegradable net pot (Bio/Bio) caught 60% of that using the commercial net pot. These findings suggest that net pots consisting of a biodegradable body and PA funnel may be effective in capturing Octopus minor. Partially biodegradable net pots (Bio/PA) are as effective as commercial net pots, yet uniquely allows a method of capturing Octopus minor without affecting the marine environment.

TL;DR: In this article, an image resource loading system and method is presented, which consists of a basic recording space for partitioning a game map into at least one cell and maintaining an object by unit of the cell, a loading target identification unit identifying a cell becoming a target for loading and an object associated with the cell in the recording space, in case that a loading event occurs, an order determination unit giving a loading order to the object associated in a cell in accordance with a predetermined determination criterion.
Abstract: Disclosed are image resource loading system and method, the system comprising a basic recording space for partitioning a game map into at least one cell and maintaining an object by unit of the cell, a loading target identification unit identifying a cell becoming a target for loading and an object associated with the cell in the basic recording space, in case that a loading event occurs, an order determination unit giving a loading order to the object associated with the cell in accordance with a predetermined determination criterion, and a processor unit loading the object by referring to the given loading order, wherein the order determination unit determines the loading order by considering the size of the object or whether the object is positioned within a predetermined range of the visual field.

TL;DR: In this paper, a presence server is used to manage presence of telephone service subscribers and route the call dialed to the subscriber to one of the subscriber's wired/wireless telephone terminals or a VoIP terminal accessed through a gateway according to the subscribers' presence information established in the presence server.
Abstract: Disclosed are a presence based telephony system and a call routing method thereof. The telephony system includes a presence server for managing presence of telephone service subscribers, and it routes the call dialed to the subscriber to one of the subscriber's wired/wireless telephone terminal or a VoIP terminal accessed through a VoIP gateway according to the subscriber's presence information established in the presence server. According to the present invention, the user uses a VoIP terminal connected to the Internet to receive calls generated to the previously subscribed wired/wireless telephone number without spatial restrictions. Also, the user can use the wired/wireless telephone service without an additional communication device if he has a VoIP terminal connected to the Internet when he buys no expensive telephone at the time of subscribing to a wired telephone service or a mobile telephone service.

TL;DR: In this paper, a method of operating an image-based search engine is presented, where data for a plurality of images displayed on a web page is sent to a user's terminal.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of operating an image-based searching engine. In the method, data for a plurality of images displayed on a web page is sent to a user's terminal. The engine receives, from the user's terminal, a user's input comprising a selection of at least one of the plurality of images. Subsequently, at least one search term associated with the selection is provided and a search using the at least one search term is conducted. After the search, a result of the search is sent to the user's terminal.
