TL;DR: This article proposed one single and one ensemble system for each translation direction, and their ensemble models ranked first in all language pairs, according to BLEU evaluation, and they discussed the pre-processing choices that they made, and presented their solutions for robustness to noise and domain adaptation.
Abstract: This paper describes the systems that we submitted to the WMT19 Machine Translation robustness task. This task aims to improve MT's robustness to noise found on social media, like informal language, spelling mistakes and other orthographic variations. The organizers provide parallel data extracted from a social media website in two language pairs: French-English and Japanese-English (in both translation directions). The goal is to obtain the best scores on unseen test sets from the same source, according to automatic metrics (BLEU) and human evaluation. We proposed one single and one ensemble system for each translation direction. Our ensemble models ranked first in all language pairs, according to BLEU evaluation. We discuss the pre-processing choices that we made, and present our solutions for robustness to noise and domain adaptation.

TL;DR: This paper investigates ontology and its description logic (OWLDL) and establishes it in the pre-planning stage of construction project and will also carry out a case study based on a real project in Korea.
Abstract: Pre-planning stage is a most important stage to determine the success of the project throughout the construction lifecycle. Therefore, all information generated from the pre-planning stage must be processed and retained in the format which all the project participants can share. Furthermore, using object-oriented attributes and meta-data in BIM (Building Information Modeling) for easy control of the space objects are actively being studied. This paper investigates ontology and its description logic (OWLDL) and establishes it in the pre-planning stage of construction project and will also carry out a case study based on a real project in Korea. The special objects will be created and the relationship of these special objects will be defined. An ontology diagram will be suggested that will control the special objects with the constraints applied.

30 Nov 2012TL;DR: Findings of this study suggest that the Hand Hygiene Education Program may be effective in enhancing hand hygiene knowledge and hand hygiene ad herence and also this program was effective in reducing nasal Staphylococcus aureus colonization in nursing students.
Abstract: Purpose: This study was conducted to test the effect of the Hand Hygiene Education Program on hand hygiene knowledge, hand hygiene perception, nasal Staphylococcus aureus colonization and hand hygiene adherence in nursing students. Methods: A nonequivalent pre-post test of quasi-experimental design was used. 87 second grade nursing students participated in the study with 43 in the experimental group and 44 in the control group. We used the Hand Hygiene Education Program which was held 5 times over 5 weeks, taking 60 minutes per session. For the analysis, descriptive statistics, chi test, and t-test were used for statical analysis with SPSS 19.0. Results: There were significant increases in hand hygiene knowledge ( p = .004) and hand hygiene adherence (p = .002) and there was a significant decrease in nasal Staphylococcus aureus colonization (p = .026) in the experimental group compared to the control group. However, hand hygiene perception (p = .543) was not significantly changed. Conclusion: Findings of this study suggest that the Hand Hygiene Education Program may be effective in enhancing hand hygiene knowledge and hand hygiene ad herence. Also this program was effective in reducing nasal Staphylococcus aureus colonization in nursing students. Further studies are needed to evaluate the effects of the Hand Hygiene Education Program on hand hygiene perception in nursing students.

TL;DR: A 45-year-old man who presented with melena due to a large pedunculated Brunner's gland hamartoma arising from the pylorus was successfully removed by endoscopic mucosal resection with piecemeal technique because of too large tumor size for application of a conventional snare.
Abstract: Brunner's gland hamartoma is a rare benign small bowel neoplasm and most lesions are small and asymptomatic. However, large hamartoma-related obstructive symptoms and hemorrhage related to tumor ulceration manifest as hematemesis or melena. The exact pathogenesis if these lesions is not well known, but they are thought to be frequently associated with Helicobacter pylori infections and chronic pancreatitis. We report the case of a 45-year-old man who presented with melena due to a large pedunculated Brunner's gland hamartoma arising from the pylorus. It was successfully removed by endoscopic mucosal resection with piecemeal technique because of too large tumor size for application of a conventional snare.

25 Nov 2015TL;DR: This study aims to make mobile device gateway an integrated gateway which supports heterogeneous devices for u-healthcare convergence and discusses the background of Internet of Things and its application to u- healthcare.
Abstract: The IoT plays an important role in healthcare applications, from managing chronic diseases at one end of the spectrum to preventing disease at the other. IoT aims to provide means to access and control all kinds of ubiquitous and uniquely identifiable devices, facilities and assets. In this paper we discussed the background of Internet of Things (IoT) and its application to u-healthcare. This study aims to make mobile device gateway an integrated gateway which supports heterogeneous devices for u-healthcare convergence.
