TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe new ethers whose organic residues contain chiral atoms, their process of preparation and their application to the resolution of alcohols, phenols or certain compounds of lactonic structure.
Abstract: New ethers whose organic residues contain chiral atoms, their process of preparation and their application to the resolution of alcohols, phenols or certain compounds of lactonic structure. The invention relates to new compounds of formula I: in which A is a 1 to 10-membered hydrocarbon chain, which may contain one or more heteroatoms, one or more unsaturations and which may be of the mono or polycyclic type, including spiro or endo, comprising one or more chiral atoms or of spatial configuration causing a chirality, Z is a residue of alcohol or of phenol comprising at least one asymmetric carbon, or of spatial configuration causing a chirality, Z being however different from (R) or (S) α-cyano 3-phenoxy benzyl when A is an chain their process of preparation and their application to the resolution of alcohols, phenols or certain lactones.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed novel compounds of the formula "STR1" wherein A is selected from the group consisting of nitrogen and CH--, G is chosen from the groups consisting of hydrogen and alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms or taken with Y forms a carbon-nitrogen or carbon-carbon bond.
Abstract: Novel compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein A is selected from the group consisting of nitrogen and ═CH--, G is selected from the group consisting of ##STR2## Z is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms or taken with Y forms a carbon-nitrogen or carbon-carbon bond, Z' is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and halogen, Y is hydrogen, or taken with Z is a carbon-nitrogen or carbon-carbon bond or taken with X is ═O and X is hydrogen or taken with Y is ═O, R is selected from the group consisting of hydroxymethyl, formyl, tetrazol-5-yl, N-(tetrazol-5-yl) carbamoyl, aminomethyl and carbamoyl, R 1 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen and alkoxy of 1 to 5 carbon atoms and its non-toxic, pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts having antiallergic activity and their preparation.

TL;DR: Active phospholipids of formula (I) as mentioned in this paper are defined as an aliphatic chain containing 14 to 24 carbon atoms which is saturated or with 1 or 2 unsaturations, and Y is such that an active molecule in the 2-position of the glycerol, which is intended to be released under the effect of phospholipsases.
Abstract: The subject of the invention is active phospholipids of formula (I): in which: R1 represents in particular an aliphatic chain containing 14 to 24 carbon atoms which is saturated or with 1 or 2 unsaturations, R3 represents in particular a choline, ethanolamine, glycerol, serine, inositol, ethanol, n-propanol, n-butanol or alternatively ethylene glycol residue, and Y is such that represents an active molecule in the 2-position of the glycerol, which is intended to be released under the effect of phospholipases.
