01 Sep 2018TL;DR: ODES as discussed by the authors is an online dynamic examination application plugin developed according to the open source software philosophy, where the CMS Wordpress is used as programmers/coders are given the potential to develop applications from scratch with safety and ease.
Abstract: This paper describes the online dynamic examination application plugin named "ODES", developed according to the open source software philosophy, where the CMS Wordpress is used as programmers/coders are given the potential to develop applications from scratch with safety and ease. In ODES application there exists two types of users: admin/teacher and student. The admin/teacher can create/edit/delete/view questions, categories of questions and examination papers. The questions are divided in two types, multiple choice questions (including true/false) and long answer questions (essays). The teacher can create exams choosing the number of questions and the types of questions that exist in the pool of questions that are previously created. The selection is done randomly by the application and the teacher just determines the total number of both multiple choice or long answer questions as well as the importance (weight) of each one of them (including negative grades also). The student takes the random generated exam and receives his/hers grades. The grades of the multiple choice questions are done automatically, whereas for the long answer questions the teacher is responsible to put grades on. After the completion of the exam the teacher can view the student’s final score via the control panel or a report.

TL;DR: The method discussed in this paper is using k-means clustering of sample pairs based on pair separation distance leading to a number of clusters each representing a different variogram point, which means lag parameters are adjusted automatically to match the spatial distribution of sample locations and the resulting variogram is improved.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the effect of inflation and real wages on labor productivity for two European Union (EU) countries: Bulgaria and Romania using cointegration Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) test and causality test of Toda and Yamamoto (1995).
Abstract: This study examines the effect of inflation and real wages on labor productivity for two European Union(EU) countries: Bulgaria and Romania using cointegration Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) test and causality test of Toda and Yamamoto (1995). Results suggest that inflation reduces labor productivity. Moreover, the impact of wages on labor productivity is far greater the impact of inflation. Additionally, there exists unidirectional relation between inflation and real wages for Bulgaria, and real wages and labor productivity for Romania.

TL;DR: The research has included several questions to interviewees who are executives in fashion companies or industry entrepreneurs with the aim to investigate what IoT represents and attempts to understand how IoT can support Fashion Design, Development and procurement as well as manufacturing.
Abstract: The internet of things (IoT) is transforming everyday physical objects that surround us into an ecosystem of information that is rapidly changing the way we live our lives. Any physical product can be more intelligent, more interactive, more trackable and more valuable by being connected via IoT. All industries, including Fashion, are expecting that the IoT will make real quantifiable impact that can be quickly translated into positive ROI for the business, and equally a positive return for consumers. In our research on the integration of 3D virtual prototype in the Textile and Clothing sector, IoT was of particular interest. The research was contacted using a combination of primary and secondary sources. First hand interviews to explore the impact of recent technology applications in the design and production of fashion products and the areas which are going to benefit most. The research has included several questions to interviewees who are executives in fashion companies or industry entrepreneurs with the aim to investigate what IoT represents and attempts to understand how IoT can support Fashion Design, Development and procurement as well as manufacturing.

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of temperature on the final porous structure was investigated and the L-lactic acid-co-(tri-methylene-carbonate) was suggested as the dominant mechanism for phase separation and pore production.
Abstract: In this work, porous structures of poly(L-lactic acid)-co-(tri-methylene-carbonate) (PLLA-co-TMC) were successfully fabricated using two experimental methods, that is, using supercritical CO2 as antisolvent and as foaming agent through the pressure induced phase separation technique. Considering the phase inversion method, the effect of the initial polymer concentration of the solution, pressure, and temperature on the morphology of the final porous structure (pore size, porosity, and cell density) was investigated. The L–L demixing process was suggested as the dominant mechanism for the phase separation and pore production. The temperature window, for which PLLA-co-TMC porous structures are successfully produced using the pressure induced phase separation technique, was determined at 150 and 210 bar. The effect of temperature on the final porous structure was investigated. POLYM. ENG. SCI., 2016. © 2016 Society of Plastics Engineers
