TL;DR: The authors' extensive calculations confirm that "Slipped Parallel" is the most stable form and that the T-shaped structure corresponds to a transition state, and this PES can be used for modeling CO2 supercritical fluidity and examination of its role in planetary atmospheres.
Abstract: We present an extensive study of the four-dimensional potential energy surface (4D-PES) of the carbon dioxide dimer, (CO2)2. This PES is developed over the set of intermolecular coordinates. The electronic computations are carried out at the explicitly correlated coupled cluster method with single, double, and perturbative triple excitations [CCSD(T)-F12] level of theory in connection with the augmented correlation-consistent aug-cc-pVTZ basis set. An analytic representation of the 4D-PES is derived. Our extensive calculations confirm that “Slipped Parallel” is the most stable form and that the T-shaped structure corresponds to a transition state. Later on, this PES is employed for the calculations of the vibrational energy levels of the dimer. Moreover, the temperature dependence of the dimer second virial coefficient and of the first spectral moment of rototranslational collision-induced absorption spectrum is derived. For both quantities, a good agreement is found between our values and the experimental data for a wide range of temperatures. This attests to the high quality of our PES. Generally, our PES and results can be used for modeling CO2 supercritical fluidity and examination of its role in planetary atmospheres. It can be also incorporated into dynamical computations of CO2 capture and sequestration. This allows deep understanding, at the microscopic level, of these processes.

TL;DR: The efficiency and completeness of the power system recovery protocol are proved as all the existing solutions are analyzed and the deployment of local distributed databases updated at run-time ensure the effectiveness of the proposed fault recovery strategy.
Abstract: Failure propagation in smart grids (SGs) complicates and prolongs the recovery time as the faults to be resolved increase. This paper presents the design and implementation of a framework for SGs modeling, simulation, and recovery. The proposed approach is based on a multiagent system composed of static and mobile agents to ensure local and remote resolutions. The efficiency and completeness of the power system recovery protocol are proved as all the existing solutions are analyzed. The use of fault classification and a performing communication process as well as the deployment of local distributed databases updated at run-time ensure the effectiveness of the proposed fault recovery strategy. An experimental study confirms and validates the expected results.

TL;DR: This paper used interviews with Christians, Muslims and Jews in dominant, minority and diasporic settings to more fully document the role which cultural context may have on the interaction between religion and marketing.
Abstract: Religion is receiving increased interest from marketing researchers due to the heightened relevance of religious affiliation to global marketing efforts. However, almost all studies in the marketing literature focus upon religion within dominant cultural settings, that is, in contexts where the religion being studied is the prevailing religious tradition in a given country. Our study uses depth interviews with Christians, Muslims and Jews in dominant, minority and diasporic settings to more fully document the role which cultural context may have on the interaction between religion and marketing. The central holidays of Christmas, Ramadan and Passover as celebrated in the United States, Israel and Tunisia serve as the focal points of the study.
