TL;DR: In this article, a 3-way transfer means for transfer presses is described, in which linear drives are attached and actuated such that, along with a compact construction, the linear drives allow the gripper rails to be changed straightforwardly during tool-changing operations.
Abstract: A transporting apparatus, in particular a 3-way transfer means, for transfer presses, in the case of which, for horizontal movement, linear drives are attached and actuated such that, along with a compact construction, the linear drives allow the gripper rails to be changed straightforwardly during tool-changing operations.

TL;DR: The classical uninformed and heuristic search algorithms such as for example A⋆ and apply them to simple examples are introduced and their application in chess computers is discussed.
Abstract: Many AI problems, like automated theorem proving, game playing, planning or routing, involve combinatorial search in large discrete spaces. We introduce the classical uninformed and heuristic search algorithms such as for example A⋆ and apply them to simple examples. Game search techniques like minimax and alpha-beta pruning and their application in chess computers are discussed.

TL;DR: The project ERTRAG (Virtual Ergonomics Trainer in the Nursing Care Education) aims to develop a virtual trainer that supports learning of ergonomically correct movements, thus avoiding serious health risks.
Abstract: Nursing Care is a challenging occupation. The ergonomically correct execution of physically strenuous care activities is very important in order to avoid secondary health problems such as backache for the nursing staff. However, there is a scarcity of ergonomics experts to facilitate the education of caregivers. In the project ERTRAG (Virtual Ergonomics Trainer in the Nursing Care Education), we aim to develop a virtual trainer that supports learning of ergonomically correct movements, thus avoiding serious health risks. The virtual trainer itself is trained by means of machine learning techniques, while the virtual trainer observes a human expert. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

TL;DR: In this paper, an upper pipe section is connected to the casting passage and a lower pipe section for immersion in the aluminium melt, characterised by a material which is resistant to aluminium melt and is releasably secured to the upper pipe.
Abstract: 1. Suction pipe for vacuum die casting machines including an upper pipe section which may be connected to the casting passage and a lower pipe section for immersion in the aluminium melt, characterised in that the lower pipe section (3) comprises a material which is resistant to aluminium melt and is releasably secured to the upper pipe section (1).

TL;DR: This chapter reflects on the experiences with the latest edited book called Mixed Methods Approaches to Social Network Analysis for Learning and Education, which contained contributions from 20+ authors and discusses the potential limitations of MMSNA approaches.
Abstract: Across the globe researchers are using social network analysis (SNA) to better understand the visible and invisible relations between people. While substantial progress has been made in the last 20 years in terms of quantitative modelling and processing techniques of SNA, there is an increased call for SNA researchers to embrace and mix methods developed in qualitative research to understand the what, how, and why questions of social network relations. In this chapter, we will reflect on our experiences with our latest edited book called Mixed Methods Approaches to Social Network Analysis for Learning and Education, which contained contributions from 20+ authors. We will first review the empirical literature of mixed methods social network analysis (MMSNA) by conducting a systematic literature review. Secondly, by using two case studies from our own practice, we will critically reflect on how we have used MMSNA approaches. Finally, we will discuss the potential limitations of MMSNA approaches, in particular given the complexities of mastering two ontologically different methods.
