TL;DR: In this article, the Verarbeitung von visuell-raumlicher information aus Hor- und Lesetexten anhand of zwei Studien untersucht is discussed.
Abstract: Zusammenfassung.

08 Jul 1998TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe a multi-compartment applicator with two receptacle blisters hermetically closed by a film, one containing a liquid, fluid, cream, or paste element and the other containing a dry element, pad, compress, or material having absorption and restitution power.
Abstract: A disposable multi-compartment applicator has two receptacle blisters hermetically closed by a film. One of the receptacle blisters may contain a liquid, fluid, cream, or paste element and the other receptacle blister may contain a dry element, pad, compress, or a material having absorption and restitution power. Squeezing one receptacle blister separates part of the film along a zone of weakness to put the liquid element in communication with the dry element, while keeping the device completely hermetic. After the dry element has been in communication with the liquid element, the dry element may be uncovered for first-aid or other use. The applicator may additionally house sticking plaster or a bandage for covering a wound that has been cleaned using the applicator.

28 Nov 2005TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose a process for preparing a reactive polyurethane composition that is characterized in that in a first process stage, from an isocyanate-reactive polymer or mixture of polyisocyanates reactive polymers with a fraction of at least 90%, preferably at least 95%, more than 99% by weight of linear molecules.
Abstract: Proposed is a process for preparing a reactive polyurethane composition that is characterized in that in a first process stage, from an isocyanate-reactive polymer or mixture of isocyanate-reactive polymers with a fraction of at least 90%, preferably at least 95%, more preferably at least 99% by weight of linear molecules, by reaction with a polyisocyanate having a molecular weight <500, in a molar deficit of the isocyanate groups of the polyisocyanate relative to the isocyanate-reactive end groups of the polymer or mixture of polymers, a monomer-free thermoplastic polyurethane is prepared which in a second process stage is reacted with a low-monomer-content, isocyanate-terminal prepolymer, in a molar ratio of the isocyanate-reactive end groups of the thermoplastic polyurethane to the isocyanate groups of the prepolymer of 1:1.1 to 1:5, to give the isocyanate-reactive polyurethane composition.

10 Nov 2003TL;DR: In this paper, a method and an apparatus for presentation of copyrighted digital content on a visual display unit is described, where content is transferred from a storage device such as a flash memory device, hard disk, or other storage device to the apparatus.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for presentation of copyrighted digital content on a visual display unit is disclosed. Various embodiments include a method and an apparatus for connecting a digital storage device to a television, such that content from the storage device is presented on the television. Content is transferred from a storage device such as a flash memory device, hard disk, or other storage device to the apparatus. The content is processed inside the apparatus, which eventually produces a video signal that is sent to the television for presentation. The apparatus may store the content or part of the content for future use. The apparatus may be controlled, for example it can be instructed which content to process and send to the television to be presented.

TL;DR: In this article, a simulation model for the pneumatic behavior that can be used in virtual commissioning is presented, complemented by physics based modeling using thermodynamic laws and quantitatively validated in terms of accuracy with respect to kinematics, dynamics, and compressed air consumption.
Abstract: Nowadays the development of complex automated assembly systems is almost impossible without the support of computer aided simulation methods. In order to increase the reliability of such simulations, the simulation models must depict the realistic, physically correct behavior of the assembly system. Thus, including the physical properties of the elements in the models allows for an increase in realism of the simulation. One of the challenging aspects in this field is the physical behavior of pneumatic drives. For simulating the correct pneumatic behavior in the validation procedure virtual commissioning, the simulation model must further meet real-time requirements. In this contribution a simulation model for the pneumatic behavior that can be used in virtual commissioning is presented. Physics based simulation capabilities based on game engine technology are applied, complemented by physics based modeling using thermodynamic laws. Additionally, the simulation model is quantitatively validated in terms of accuracy with respect to kinematics, dynamics, and compressed air consumption.
