The supramolecular chemistry of organoplatinum complexes containing amide or alcohol functional groups

TL;DR: In this paper, it has been shown that the addition of alkyl halides, RX, to organo-platinum(II) complex can give organoplatinum(IV) com-plexes containing carboxylic acid or boronic acid groups, and that the freeoxygenand nitrogen atoms of the bpoxligand can participate as hydrogen bond acceptors in forming su-pramolecular polymers.
