Journal ArticleDOI

Natural product chemistry, 134. Syntheses of the natural coumarins gleinene and gleinadiene

TL;DR: In this paper, the 5,7-dimethoxycoumarins, gleinene (3b) and gleinadiene (2), which naturally occur in Murraya gleinei root bark, have been synthesized in four steps from 7-hydroxy-5-methoxy coumarin in overall yields of 45% and 19%, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Methionine‐functionalized chitosan–Pd(0) complex: A novel magnetically separable catalyst for Heck reaction of aryl iodides and aryl bromides at room temperature in water as only solvent

TL;DR: In this article, a novel catalyst system with an immobilized palladium metal-containing magnetic nanoparticle core (ImmPd(0)-MNPs) for the Heck reaction was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Heterogeneous alkenylation of aromatics under oxygen

TL;DR: In this paper, a novel heterogeneous Pd/polymer catalyst containing co-catalytic functional groups was proposed for the direct alkenylation of anisole with ethyl trans-cinnamate under oxygen.
Journal ArticleDOI

Heck coupling in the gas phase: Examination of the reaction mechanism by ion/molecule reactions and mass spectrometry

TL;DR: The Heck reaction of isoprene with trimethylammonium iodide was conducted in the gas phase as discussed by the authors, and the ionic product of the Pd-catalyzed coupling reaction was reliably characterized by exact ion mass measurements and by characteristic product ions generated by tandem-MS.
Journal ArticleDOI

Visible Light Induced Brønsted Acid Assisted Pd-Catalyzed Alkyl Heck Reaction of Diazo Compounds and N-Tosylhydrazones

TL;DR: In this article, a mild visible light-induced palladium-catalyzed alkyl Heck reaction of diazo compounds and N -tosylhydrazones is reported.
