Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of new fused heterocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons via C–S and C–C bond formation by C–H bond activation in the presence of new Pd(ii) Schiff's base complexes

TL;DR: In this paper, the Schiff's base aza-macrocyclic Pd(DPTTP)Cl2 and Pd-TPTTPCl2 complexes are efficient photocatalysts for the activation of the C-H bond and the formation of both intramolecular C-C bond and C-S bonds to obtain the fused heterocyclic system.
Journal ArticleDOI

Interfacially Cross‐Linked Reverse Micelles as Soluble Support for Palladium Nanoparticle Catalysts

Li-Chen Lee, +1 more
TL;DR: Cross-linked reverse micelles could encapsulate palladium nanoparticles within their hydrophilic cores and protect them in catalytic reactions, and good to excellent yields were obtained in the Heck coupling of a range of alkyl acrylates and iodobenzenes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Competitive intramolecular C–C vs. C–O bond coupling reactions toward C6 ring-fused 2-pyridone synthesis

TL;DR: These coupling reactions provided selective access to C- or O-ring-fused pyridones, both at the challenging C6-pyridone position, and offered an efficient and attractive methodology to selectively access a large scope of C-arylated and O-arylation pyrids of biological interest.
Journal ArticleDOI

Regiospecific Displacement of the C‐B Bond of Tris[4‐(substituted)furan‐3‐yl]boroxines with C‐Sn Bond and C‐O Bond: Syntheses of 3,4‐Disubstituted Furans and 4‐Substituted‐3(2H)‐furanones,

TL;DR: In this article, Tris[4-(substituted)furan-3-yl]boroxines were converted successfully to 4-(substantituted)-3-(tributylstannyl)furans 3 through palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions with tributyl stannyl chloride, and a thermal 6-electrocyclic reaction followed by dehydration converted 6 into benzo[2,3-6]furan 8.
Journal ArticleDOI

Selective and efficient synthesis of trans-arylvinylboronates and trans-hetarylvinylboronates using palladium catalyzed cross-coupling

TL;DR: In this paper, a method of palladium catalyzed cross-coupling between pinacol vinylboronate and various aryl or hetaryl bromides to obtain the corresponding trans-(het)arylvinylboronates in excellent yields and selectivity was reported.
