Modules for Introducing Organometallic Reactions: A Bridge between Organic and Inorganic Chemistry

TL;DR: In this article, transition metal organometallic reactions have become increasingly important in the synthesis of organic molecules, and a new approach has been developed to introduce transition metal chemistry along with organic and inorganic chemistry at the foundational level.
Journal ArticleDOI

Iodination of anilines and phenols with 18-crown-6 supported ICl2-.

TL;DR: A highly crystalline iodinating reagent, {[K·18-C-6]ICl(2)}(n), was synthesized in high yield (93%) and controlled mono-iodination with anilines was easily achieved while poly-iodinations was observed with phenols.
