Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of vinylogous 2-sulfonylindolines by the palladium-catalyzed heteroannulation of o-iodoanilines with dienyl sulfones and their further transformation to indoles and carbazoles.

TL;DR: The palladium-catalyzed heteroannulation of o-iodoanilines with dienyl sulfones provides a convenient route to vinylogous 2-sulfonylindolines and provides access to carbazoles with various substituents at the 3-, 4-, and 6-positions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Iminyl Radical-Triggered 1,5-Hydrogen-Atom Transfer/Heck-Type Coupling by Visible-Light Photoredox Catalysis

TL;DR: An efficient iminyl radical-triggered 1,5-hydrogen-atom transfer/Heck-type coupling cascade has been achieved through visible-light photoredox catalysis, providing an elegant route to γ-alkenylated ketone.
Journal ArticleDOI

Palladium-Catalyzed Mizoroki-Heck-Type Alkenylation of Monoaryldialkylsulfoniums.

TL;DR: Mizoroki-Heck-type alkenylation of monoaryldialkylsulfoniums has been accomplished by means of palladium catalysts through one-pot alkenYLation of aryl methyl sulfide.
Journal ArticleDOI

Palladium-catalyzed regioselective Heck arylation of electron-rich olefins in a molecular solvent-ionic liquid cocktail

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the benchmark electron-rich olefins vinyl ethers can be readily arylated by aryl bromides in a molecular solvent-ionic liquid cocktail with no compromise on regioselectivity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inhibitory effect of cytotoxic stilbenes related to resveratrol on the expression of the VEGF, hTERT and c-Myc genes.

TL;DR: One of the synthetic stilbenes, (E)-4-(4-methoxystyryl)aniline, showed strong cytotoxicity and proved able to cause a marked decrease both in the secretion of VEGF and in the expression of the hTERT and c-Myc genes, in all cases at concentrations in the low nanomolar range.
