2-(1-Aryliminoethyl)cycloheptapyridylpalladium complexes: Synthesis, characterization and the use in the Heck-reaction

TL;DR: A series of 2-acetylcycloheptapyridine derivatives (L1-L7) were prepared in good yield by the condensation reaction of 2]-cyclohexylcyclopyridine with various anilines, and then reacted with PdCl2(CH3CN)2 in dichloromethane to form the respective palladium(II) complexes (C1-C7) as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bis(carboxylato) complexes of platinum(II). Structural and bonding analysis of [Pt(O2CR)2(L–L)][L–L = 2PPh3, Ph2PCH2PPh2 or Fe(C5H4PPh2)2; R = Me, CF3, Pri or Ph]

TL;DR: In this article, the crystal and molecular structures of [PtCl2(L-L)][L−L = 2 PPh3, Ph2PCH2PPh2(dppm) or Fe(C5H4PPh 2)2 (dppf)] with Ag(O2CR)(R = Me, CF3, Pri or Ph) at room temperature were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffractometry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Significant stabilization of palladium by gold in the bimetallic nanocatalyst leading to an enhanced activity in the hydrodechlorination of aryl chlorides.

TL;DR: The stabilization effect of Au towards Pd changed the reactivity of Pd in Au/Pd bimetallic nanoclusters, altering the reaction mechanism from homogeneous to heterogeneous in dechlorination reaction of aryl chlorides.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of E-Alkyl Alkenes from Terminal Alkynes via Ni-Catalyzed Cross-Coupling of Alkyl Halides with B-Alkenyl-9-borabicyclo[3.3.1]nonanes.

TL;DR: The first Ni-catalyzed Suzuki-Miyaura coupling of alkyl halides with alkenyl-(9-BBN) reagents is reported, allowing the expedited synthesis of functionalizedAlkyl alkenes from readily available alkynes with complete (E)-selectivity in one pot.
