Journal ArticleDOI

Low valent palladium benzoquinone complexes bearing different spectator ligands. The versatile coordinative capability of benzoquinone

TL;DR: In this article, the hapticity of benzoquinone palladium complexes was inferred from the features of their 1 H and 13 C NMR spectra, and it was shown that the coordinative choice is not easily predictable, although the η 2 coordination seems to be predominant in the presence of rigid ancillary ligands.
Journal ArticleDOI

Intermediate ion stability and regioselectivity in propene polymerization using neutral salicyladiminato nickel(II) and palladium(II) complexes as catalysts

TL;DR: In this paper, the Heck reaction has been studied with regard to transition metal catalysis of the addition of propene and the formation of unsaturated polymers, and it is shown that whether the initial addition is trans to O or to N of the bidentate ligand is of crucial importance to the subsequent reactions.
Journal ArticleDOI

A highly efficient and recyclable fluorous palladium catalyst for Heck reactions in water

TL;DR: In this article, a fluorous nano-palladium catalyst has been synthesized and characterized for the Heck reaction of aryl halides with substituted styrenes in water under air.
Journal ArticleDOI

Palladium‐catalyzed Heck coupling of 2‐vinylpyridine with aryl chlorides

TL;DR: An efficient PdCl2(PCy3)2-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of 2-vinylpyridine with aryl chlorides to afford trans-2-styrylpyridines with a variety of functional groups on the benzene ring is described in this article.
