The immune system, adaptation, and machine learning

TLDR
A dynamical model for the immune system is described that is based on the network hypothesis of Jerne, and is simple enough to simulate on a computer, and has a strong similarity to an approach to learning and artificial intelligence introduced by Holland, called the classifier system.

Application Study in Decision Support with Fuzzy Cognitive Map

TL;DR: A methodology based on the use of Fuzzy cognitive map and immune algorithm to find the initial state of system from among a large number of possible states is proposed, and its results suggest that the method is capable of goal-oriented decision support.

A preliminary survey on optimized multiobjective metaheuristic methods for data clustering using evolutionary approaches

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provide a nomenclature that highlights some aspects that are very important in the context of evolutionary data clustering and provide a survey of the state-of-the-art of research, copiously devoted to evolutionary approach for clustering exemplified with a diversity of evolutionary computations.

Immune multi-agent active defense model for network intrusion

TL;DR: In this paper, an immune multi-agent active defense model for network intrusion is established, where the concept of immune agent is introduced and the logical structure and running mechanism are established.

Immune Multi-agent Active Defense Model for Network Intrusion

TL;DR: The method which uses antibody concentration to quantitatively describe the degree of intrusion danger is presented and the proposed model implements a multi-layer and distributed active defense mechanism for network intrusion, and it is a new way to the network security.

Somatic generation of antibody diversity

TL;DR: In the genome of a germ-line cell, the genetic information for an immunoglobulin polypeptide chain is contained in multiple gene segments scattered along a chromosome which are assembled by recombination which leads to the formation of a complete gene.

A mathematical model illustrating the theory of turbulence

TL;DR: In this article, the application of statistical analysis and statistical mechanics to the problem of turbulent fluid motion has attracted much attention in recent years, and the authors investigated a complicated system of nonlinear equations, in order to find out enough about the properties of the solutions of these equations that insight can be obtained into the various patterns exhibited by the field and that data can be derived concerning the relative frequencies of these patterns in the hope that in this way a basis may be found for the calculation of important values.
