TL;DR: There were similar increases in sedentary time in girls and boys between age 5–6 and 8–9, and decreases in MVPA that were more marked in girls, which support early interventions to prevent the age-related decline in children’s physical activity.

Associations of Circulating C-Reactive Protein and Interleukin-6 with Survival in Women with and without Cancer: Findings from the British Women's Heart and Health Study
TL;DR: Elevated CRP and IL-6 concentrations were similarly associated with an increased risk of death in elderly women with and without cancer, suggesting these markers are likely to be indicators of non-cancer comorbidities rather than related to the malignancy itself.

TL;DR: How trajectories of cardiometabolic risk factors change over the life course is summarized and it is suggested that understanding underlying 'normal' or 'healthy' trajectories and the characteristics that drive deviations from such trajectories offer the potential for early prevention and for identifying means of preventing future disease.
