Microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of twinned AZ31 alloy plates at lower elevated temperature

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of pre-existing twins on the mechanical properties of AZ31 alloy plates at lower elevated temperature was investigated, and the results revealed that the twinned alloy plates exhibited higher strength at lower elevation than the as-received plates without a large reduction in elongation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inhibition of metastatic tumor growth and metastasis via targeting metastatic breast cancer by chlorotoxin-modified liposomes.

TL;DR: This study proved that the ClTx-modified liposomes had targeting ability to metastatic breast cancer in addition to brain cancer, and displayed an obvious antimetastasis effect.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enzyme-Dependent [4 + 2] Cycloaddition Depends on Lid-like Interaction of the N-Terminal Sequence with the Catalytic Core in PyrI4

TL;DR: This work proposes a unique trapping mechanism whereby the lid-like action of the N-terminal tail imposes conformational constraints on the β barrel catalytic core, which enhances the proximity and polarization effects of reactive groups (1,3-diene and alkene) to drive cyclization in a regio- and stereo-specific manner.
Journal ArticleDOI

Stiff micelle-crosslinked hyaluronate hydrogels with low swelling for potential cartilage repair.

TL;DR: Results indicate that the stiff NMgel is a promising cartilage tissue engineering scaffold for the regeneration of cartilage in vivo.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of pre-existing {101¯2} extension twins on mechanical properties, microstructure evolution and dynamic recrystallization of AZ31 Mg alloy during uniaxial compression

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compared the performance of the as-received and twinned samples in uniaxial compression with continuous dynamic recrystallization (CDRX) and discontinuous DRX with the further increase of temperature.
