Multifunctional Architectures Constructing of PANI Nanoneedle Arrays on MoS2 Thin Nanosheets for High-Energy Supercapacitors.

TL;DR: Multifunctional MoS2 @PANI (polyaniline) pseudo-supercapacitor electrodes consisting ofMoS2 thin nanosheets and PANI nanoarrays are fabricated via a large-scale approach for superior capacitance retention and high energy density.
Journal ArticleDOI

Formation of monometallic Au and Pd and bimetallic Au–Pd nanoparticles confined in mesopores via Ar glow-discharge plasma reduction and their catalytic applications in aerobic oxidation of benzyl alcohol

TL;DR: In this paper, a Pd-rich shell/Au-rich core structure with abundant surface-coordination-unsaturated Pd atoms of those effectively confined and well-dispersed Au-Pd nanoparticles was found to be highly active in the selective oxidation of benzyl alcohol, showing a rate constant of 0.50h−1.

Surface-charge-mediated Formation of H-TiO2@Ni(OH)2 Heterostructures for High-Performance Supercapcitors

TL;DR: These configuration-tailored H-TiO2 @Ni(OH)2 core-shell nanowires exhibit a superior electrochemical performance and good flexibility.
Journal ArticleDOI

Growth of Large-Area and Highly Crystalline MoS2 Thin Layers on Insulating Substrates

TL;DR: In this article, high temperature annealing of a thermally decomposed ammonium thiomolybdate layer in the presence of sulfur can produce large-area MoS2 thin layers with superior electrical performance on insulating substrates.
