TL;DR: It is shown that APOE4-genotype associated differences are significantly enriched among AD-associated genes in capillary and venule endothelial cells, and subsets of pericytes and fibroblasts, which underlie the vascular dysregulation in APoe4-associated cognitive decline.

Structural variant selection for high-altitude adaptation using single-molecule long-read sequencing

TL;DR: In this article, a large-scale single-molecule long-read sequencing of 320 Tibetan and Han samples was used to show that structural variants are key drivers of selection under high-altitude adaptation.
