Search for new phenomena in events with high jet multiplicity and low missing transverse momentum in proton–proton collisions at s=8TeV

Vardan Khachatryan, +2257 more
- 01 Jan 2017 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a dedicated search is presented for new phenomena in inclusive 8 and 10-jet final states with low missing transverse momentum, with and without identification of jets originating from b quarks.
Journal Article

Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of B-s(0) meson production in pp and PbPb collisions at root S-NN=5.02 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2303 more
- 10 Sep 2019 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the production cross sections of Bs0 mesons and charge conjugates are measured in proton-proton (pp) and PbPb collisions via the exclusive decay channel Bs 0→J/ψϕ→μ+μ−K+K− at a center-of-mass energy of 5.02 TeV per nucleon pair and within the rapidity range |y|<2.4 using the CMS detector at the LHC.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of inclusive very forward jet cross sections in proton-lead collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2372 more
TL;DR: In this article, the results of very forward very forward jet production in proton-lead collisions as a function of jet energy are presented, and the results are discussed in terms of the saturation of gluon densities at low fractional parton momenta.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Measurement of alpha-s from the scaling violation in e+ e- annihilation

P. Abreu, +552 more
- 10 Apr 1997 -
TL;DR: In this article, the hadronic fragmentation functions of the various quark flavors and of gluons are measured in a study of the inclusive hadron production from Z0 decays with the DELPHI detector and are compared with the fragmentation functions measured elsewhere at energies between 14 GeV and 91 GeV.
