Journal ArticleDOI
Pulmonary Regnase-1 orchestrates the interplay of epithelium and adaptive immune systems to protect against pneumonia.
Yoshinari Nakatsuka,Yoshinari Nakatsuka,Alexis Vandenbon,Takashi Mino,Takashi Mino,Masanori Yoshinaga,Masanori Yoshinaga,Takuya Uehata,Takuya Uehata,Xiaotong Cui,Xiaotong Cui,Ayuko Sato,Tohru Tsujimura,Yutaka Suzuki,Atsuyasu Sato,Tomohiro Handa,Kazuo Chin,Teiji Sawa,Toyohiro Hirai,Osamu Takeuchi,Osamu Takeuchi +20 more
TL;DR: It is shown that Regnase-1, an endoribonuclease expressed in AECs and immune cells, plays an essential role in coordinating innate responses and adaptive immunity against P. aeruginosa infection.
Journal ArticleDOI
Detection of gene expression in synovium of patients with osteoarthritis using a random sequencing method
Takahiro Okabe,Yoshihiro Ohmori,Akira Tanigami,Haretsugu Hishigaki,Yutaka Suzuki,Sumio Sugano,Amu Kawaguchi,Hiroyuki Nakaya,Shigeyuki Wakitani +8 more
TL;DR: ADAMTS5 and APOL1 may have important roles in the mechanism of OA, and expression of MMP1 mRNA was weak in OA samples, however, while expression of ADAMTS7 and APolipoprotein L-I mRNAs was strong in the controls and some of the OA sample.
Journal ArticleDOI
Neuroblastoma oligo-capping cDNA project: toward the understanding of the genesis and biology of neuroblastoma.
Miki Ohira,Aiko Morohashi,Yohko Nakamura,Eriko Isogai,Kazushige Furuya,Shiho Hamano,Taiichi Machida,Mineyoshi Aoyama,Masayuki Fukumura,Kou Miyazaki,Yutaka Suzuki,Sumio Sugano,Junko Hirato,Akira Nakagawara +13 more
TL;DR: The NBL cDNA project has identified approximately 500 differentially expressed genes between favorable and unfavorable subsets of NBL, among which more than 250 were the genes with unknown function.
Journal ArticleDOI
Different gene expression profiles between normal and thermally selected strains of rainbow trout, Oncorhynchus mykiss, as revealed by comprehensive transcriptome analysis.
Engkong Tan,Shigeharu Kinoshita,Yutaka Suzuki,Toshinao Ineno,Koichi Tamaki,Akio Kera,Koji Muto,Takashi Yada,Shoji Kitamura,Shuichi Asakawa,Shugo Watabe +10 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that many of heat shock protein family genes and transcription factor AP-1 related genes were highly expressed in all tissues of the HT strain compared with the DS strain, suggesting that these genes play key roles in upper temperature tolerance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spatial Interplay between Polycomb and Trithorax Complexes Controls Transcriptional Activity in T Lymphocytes
Atsushi Onodera,Damon J. Tumes,Yukiko Watanabe,Kiyoshi Hirahara,Atsushi Kaneda,Fumihiro Sugiyama,Yutaka Suzuki,Toshinori Nakayama +7 more
TL;DR: It is found that different combinations of Ezh2 and menin occupancy were associated with expression of specific functional gene groups important for T cell development, and spatial cooperative gene regulation by the PcG and TrxG complexes may represent a novel mechanism regulating the transcriptional identity of differentiated cells.
