01 Dec 2017TL;DR: This work presents a security scheme with two-way verification for wireless sensor nodes employing established standards with rather insignificant data transfer and handshaking latency.
Abstract: IP based communication protocols will play a key role enabling the pervasive connectivity among the devices within IoT network. Such a resource-restricted platform specific protocol is Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) protocol. Applicability of DTLS to constrained environments is still a controversial issue because of its network overhead, memory management, and latency. This work presents a security scheme with two-way verification for wireless sensor nodes employing established standards with rather insignificant data transfer and handshaking latency. The recommended security scheme is built with a new cipher suite incorporated with an authentication algorithm “Poly1305” and an encryption algorithm “ChaCha20”.

24 Sep 2021TL;DR: In this paper, a fuzzy-based simulation model is proposed to assist deaf and visually impaired people for safe mobility in wireless communications, which helps the user to avoidance objects and safe navigation.
Abstract: In this globe, millions of people are deaf or visually impaired. It is exceptionally rare case someone to be born with this condition, but the possibility of developing deafness or blindness later in life is very probable. The conception of the navigational assistance system has been a remarkable techno-logical advancement. With the developments of wireless communications, the deaf and visually impaired people's assistive device demand also growing for safe and reliable movement. The aim of the research proposed a fuzzy-based simulation model to assist deaf and visually impaired people for safe mobility. For accurate simulation data analysis based on maximum possibility used fuzzy logic interface tools with multiple inputs and output systems. The fuzzy logic interface rules have been prepared based on deaf or visually impaired people's requirements and specifications. The developed model helps the user to avoidance objects and safe navigation.

18 May 2012TL;DR: A non-blind robust Discrete Wavelet Transform domain watermarking approach for images is introduced in this paper and the experimental results showed that the proposed algorithm is highly robust.
Abstract: In recent times, digital watermarking has become one of the advanced technologies to protect images from illicit manipulations. A non-blind robust Discrete Wavelet Transform domain watermarking approach for images is introduced in this paper. Based on the parent-child relationship between wavelet coefficients, the Set Partitioning in Hierarchical Trees (SPIHT) algorithm is applied on the transformed host image to find out the significant coefficients for embedding binary patterned watermark image. Higher level of security is achieved by scrambling the watermark using Arnold transform. The selected significant wavelet coefficients are adapted using Noise Visibility Function (NVF) to achieve enhanced imperceptibility. The scheme is tested against various image processing operations including JPEG compression, noise addition, filtering, cropping, histogram equalization and contrast adjustment. The experimental results showed that the proposed algorithm is highly robust.

TL;DR: In this article, a set of graph reduction rules have been used to build a de Bruijn graph, which plays significant role in gene prediction and next generation sequencing (NGS).
Abstract: Biological interaction mainly depends on the interactions of various genes and genomes. To identify actual meaning of interactions we have to find out the facts and reasons for these interactions. Gene analysis allows to verify such environment. Gene annotation means to identify the exon regions in metagenomic samples. The de Bruijn graph plays significant role in gene prediction and next generation sequencing (NGS). Apart from that, Eular Path of de Bruijn graph introduced generalized gene annotation for translational and splicing signals, exon introns separation and coding regions. set of graph reduction rules have used to build a de Bruijn graph. Accurate solution for large scale sequencing, trims space complexity and generates optimal gene annotation have tested.

01 Feb 2018TL;DR: In this paper, an optimized CZTS solar cell has been investigated with different front contact where Tin Sulphide (SnS) is used as BSF layer for every structure.
Abstract: CZTS Solar Cell has great potentiality in PV technology as conventional Si based cells already have been reached closer to their maximum efficiency limit and other TFSC like CdTe, CIGS are facing scarcity and toxicity problems. In this study, an optimized CZTS solar cell has been investigated with different front contact where Tin Sulphide (SnS) is used as BSF layer for every structure. Among three TCO layer, ITO shows better performance with SnS BSF layer providing Jsc=19.98 mA/cm2, Voc =0.99V, FF= 81.87% and efficiency of 16.34%. Again, stability of the cell has been analysed and found that open circuit voltage and efficiency degrade with the increment of the temperature. Finally, it is realized that AZO and FTO can be cost effective and suitable alternative to the expensive ITO.
