TL;DR: In this article, exponential runge-kutta methods of collocation type are considered for linear and semi-linear parabolic problems and an abstract Banach space framework of sectorial operators and Lipchitz continuous nonlinearities are selected for the analysis.
Abstract: In this study, exponentialRunge-Kutta methods of collocation type are considered for linear and semi-linear parabolic problems. An abstract Banach space framework of sectorial operators and Lipchitz continuous nonlinearities are selected for the analysis. Exponential Runge-Kutta methods of collocation type are also employed for parabolic Cauchy problems. Moreover, numerical experiments have been presented for illustration of parabolic problems.

TL;DR: In this paper, a comparison was made of the propagating SH-waves in the fluid-saturated mediums that were categorized into two distinct groups: insoluble and soluble mediums.
Abstract: Problem statement: Characteristics of the seismic waves have been studied mainly the amplitudes, attenuation, frequency, porosity and the velocity of the waves. In this study, the SH-waves were studied for the diffusion which was related to the diffraction of SH-waves in the saturated medium. Approach: The elastic wave equation was being used to show the SH-waves. A comparison was made of the propagating SH-waves in the fluid-saturated mediums that were categorized into two distinct groups: Insoluble and soluble mediums. Results: The discussions on fluid density in the mediums showed that high density fluid promotes diffusive characteristic while low density fluid endorses non diffusive SH-wave. However, the diffraction had induced significant shock wave in the medium saturated with low density fluid. Conclusion: These results indicated that the linear seismic waves are able to transform into nonlinear waves.

TL;DR: The existing SIS based epidemic models and its extensions were examined to establish the need for an improved model pertinent for EVD problems and an EVD Susceptible Infected Removed (SIR) based epidemic model was proposed and found relevant.
Abstract: The analysis of epidemic diseases based on the Susceptible Infected Susceptible (SIS) epidemic model and its extensions have received wide application over the years. However, recent investigations indicated a threestep transmission phase that is unique for Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) only. This paper examined the existing SIS based epidemic models and its extensions to establish the need for an improved model pertinent for EVD problems. Subsequently, an EVD Susceptible Infected Removed (SIR) based epidemic model was proposed and found relevant for the analysis of EVD problems based on the three-step transmission phases.

TL;DR: In this article, boundary integral equations for Ahlfors map of bounded multiply connected regions are derived, which have the potential to be useful in computing the zeros of Ahflors map.
Abstract: The Ahlfors map of an n–connected region is a branched n–to–one map from the region onto the unit disk. In this paper we derived new boundary integral equations for Ahlfors map of bounded multiply connected regions. One of them has the potential to be useful in computing the zeros of Ahlfors map. The kernels of these boundary integral equations are the generalized Neumann kernel, adjoint Neumann kernel, Neumann-type kernel and Kerzman-Stein kernel. These integral equations are constructed from a non-homogeneous boundary relationship satisfied by an analytic function on multiply connected regions.
