TL;DR: In this article, the authors report measurements of branching fractions for charged and neutral $B\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}K$ decays where the meson is reconstructed in the neutral channel.
Abstract: We report measurements of branching fractions for charged and neutral $B\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}K$ decays where the ${\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}$ meson is reconstructed in the ${K}_{S}^{0}{K}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{\mp}}$, ${K}^{+}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$, ${K}^{*0}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}$, and $p\overline{p}$ decay channels. The neutral ${B}^{0}$ channel is a $CP$ eigenstate and can be used to measure the $CP$ violation parameter $\mathrm{sin} 2{\ensuremath{\varphi}}_{1}$. We also report the first observation of the ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c}{K}^{*0}$ mode. The results are based on an analysis of $29.1\text{ }{\mathrm{f}\mathrm{b}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ of data collected by the Belle detector at KEKB.

TL;DR: In this paper, a cosmological perturbation theory based on generalized gravity theories including string theory correction terms and a tachyonic complication is presented, where the classical evolution as well as the quantum generation processes in these varieties of gravity theories are presented in unified forms.
Abstract: We present cosmological perturbation theory based on generalized gravity theories including string theory correction terms and a tachyonic complication. The classical evolution as well as the quantum generation processes in these varieties of gravity theories are presented in unified forms. These apply both to the scalar- and tensor-type perturbations. Analyses are made based on the curvature variable in two different gauge conditions often used in the literature in Einstein's gravity; these are the curvature variables in the comoving (or uniform-field) gauge and the zero-shear gauge. Applications to generalized slow-roll inflation and its consequent power spectra are derived in unified forms which include a wide range of inflationary scenarios based on Einstein's gravity and others.

TL;DR: The results might support the use of the microscrew implants as an anchorage for group distal movement of the teeth.
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to quantify the treatment effects of distalization of the maxillary and mandibular molars using microscrew implants. The success rate and clinical con- siderations in the use of the microscrew implants were also evaluated. Thirteen patients who had undergone distalization of the posterior teeth using forces applied against microscrew implants were selected. Among them, 11 patients had mandibular microscrew implants and four patients had maxillary implants, including two patients who had both maxillary and mandibular ones at the same time. The maxillary first premolar and first molars showed significant distal movement, with no significant distal movement of the anterior teeth. The mandibular first premolar and first and second molars showed significant distal movement, but no significant movement of the mandibular incisor was observed. The microscrew implant success rate was 90% over a mean application period of 12.3 6 5.7 months. The results might support the use of the microscrew implants as an anchorage for group distal movement of the teeth. (Angle Orthod 2005;75:602-609.)

TL;DR: The modulation of several cellular transduction pathways by curcumin has recently been extended to elucidate the molecular basis for obesity and obesity-related metabolic diseases.
Abstract: Purpose A metabolic abnormality such as obesity is a major obstacle in the maintenance of the human health system and causes various chronic diseases including type 2 diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, as well as various cancers. This study was designed to summarize the recent scientific knowledge regarding the anti-obesity role of curcumin (diferuloylmethane), which is isolated from the herb curcuma longa, known to possess anti-inflammatory activities. However, little is known about its exact underlying molecular mechanisms in the treatment of obesity and metabolic diseases. Furthermore, cell cultures, animal models of obesity, and few human clinical and epidemiological studies have added the promise for future therapeutic interventions of this dietary compound.
