TL;DR: Several critical changes and clarifications are made by the AJCC 8th edition relative to the 7th edition, and modifications are discussed, as well as points, which require further study and optimisation.
Abstract: Urothelial carcinoma of the urinary bladder is a heterogeneous disease with multiple possible treatment modalities and a wide spectrum of clinical outcome. Treatment decisions and prognostic expectations hinge on accurate and precise staging, and the recently published American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) Staging Manual, 8th edition, should be the basis for staging of urinary bladder tumours. It is unfortunate that the International Union Against Cancer (UICC) 8th edition failed to incorporate new data which is considered in the AJCC 8th edition. Thus, the AJCC 8th edition is the focus of this review. Several critical changes and clarifications are made by the AJCC 8th edition relative to the 7th edition. Although the most obvious changes in the 8th edition are in the N (i.e. perivesical lymph node involvement now classified as N1) and M (i.e. M1 is subdivided into M1a and M1b) categories, several points are clarified in the T category (e.g. substaging of pT1 should be attempted). Further optimisation, however, is required. No particular method of substaging pT1 is formally recommended. In this review, these modifications are discussed, as well as points, which require further study and optimisation.

TL;DR: The genetic diversity of 66 Phaseolus genotypes was investigated and it is suggested that selection by farmers and adaptation to heterogeneous environments has maintained the diversity in landraces of the common bean.
Abstract: The genetic diversity of 66 Phaseolus genotypes was investigated, which included 14 local varieties of Phaseolus vulgaris and nine local varieties of P. coccineus, collected in Marche, central Italy. Their genetic diversity was assessed using three types of molecular marker: inter simple sequence repeats (ISSRs), nuclear gene-tagged simple sequence repeats (SSRs) and chloroplast simple sequence repeats (CpSSRs). Phaseolus vulgaris shows a higher genetic diversity than P. coccineus for the SSRs and CpSSRs, but not for the putative neutral ISSR markers. These data suggest that selection by farmers and adaptation to heterogeneous environments has maintained the diversity in landraces of the common bean. Comparing genetic diversity in Marche with that of the American controls reveals that 71% of the local P. vulgaris varieties in Marche are of Andean origin. The two gene pools of the common bean can be found on the same farm, and there is some evidence of past hybridization events between these two gene pools.

TL;DR: Sentic Web is introduced, a new paradigm for the management of social media affective information, which exploits AI and Semantic Web techniques to extract, encode, and represent opinions and sentiments over the Web.
Abstract: The recent success of media-sharing services caused an exponential growth of community-contributed multimedia data on the Web and hence a consistent shift of the flow of information from traditional communication channels to social media ones. Retrieving relevant information from this kind of data is getting more and more difficult, not only for their volume, but also for the different nature and formats of their contents. In this work, we introduce Sentic Web, a new paradigm for the management of social media affective information, which exploits AI and Semantic Web techniques to extract, encode, and represent opinions and sentiments over the Web. In particular, the computational layer consists in an intelligent engine for the inference of emotions from text, the representation layer is developed on the base of specific domain ontologies, and the application layer is based on the faceted browsing paradigm to make contents available as an interconnected knowledge base.

TL;DR: It is shown that LD enlargement through LD-LD transference of fat is an important process during WAT browning, and this transformation would be triggered by the activation of a thermogenic futile cycle of lipolysis/lipogenesis and could facilitate the molecular mechanism for the unilocular to multilocular transformation during Wat browning.
