Journal ArticleDOI
Synthetic, structural, NMR and catalytic studies of phosphinic amide-phosphoryl chalcogenides (chalcogen = O, S, Se) as mixed-donor bidentate ligands in zinc chemistry
Miguel A. del Águila-Sánchez,Neidemar M. Santos-Bastos,Maria C. Ramalho-Freitas,Jesús García López,Marcos C. de Souza,Jackson A. L. Camargos-Resende,María Casimiro,Gilberto Alves-Romeiro,María José Iglesias,Fernando López Ortiz +9 more
TL;DR: Applications in catalysis revealed that hemilabile ligands 20a-c act as significant promoters of the addition of diethylzinc to aldehydes, with 20a showing the highest activity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Application of well-defined chain-end-functionalized polystyrenes with dendritic chiral ephedrine moieties as reagents for highly catalytic enantioselective addition of dialkylzincs to aldehydes
TL;DR: In this article, a series of well-defined chain-end-functionalized polystyrenes having a definite number of chiral ephedrine moieties dendritically distributed at the periphery of their hyperbranched chain-ends were evaluated as chiral catalysts for the enantioselective addition of dialkylzinc reagents to aldehydes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Chiral ligands containing heteroatoms. 15.1 cyclic β-amino alcohols as chiral inductors for enantioselective reductions of ketones
TL;DR: In this paper, cyclic β-amino alcohols derived from natural αamino acids were used as chiral ligands in oxazaborolidine reduction of ketones.

Catalytic asymmetric addition of aldehydes using organolithium reagents in the presence of commercial available chiral diol ligands
Hua Zong,Huayin Huang,Ling Song +2 more
TL;DR: An efficient method for the catalytic asymmetric additions to aldehydes using organolithium reagents and titanium(IV) isopropoxide in the presence of commercially available and relatively inexpensive diol ligands, such as (S)-BINOL or d -TADDOL has been developed as discussed by the authors.
