TLDR
Applied cancer control measures are needed to reduce rates in HICs and arrest the growing burden in LMICs, as well as for lung, colorectal, breast, and prostate cancer, although some low- and middle-income countries (LMIC) now count among those with the highest rates.

Long non‑coding RNA XIST predicting advanced clinical parameters in cancer: A Meta‑Analysis and case series study in a single institution (Review)

TL;DR: It was demonstrated that high expression levels of lncRNA-XIST were significantly associated with lymphatic metastasis, larger tumor size, advanced cancer stage and distant metastasis in the OS patient cohort, and may serve as a potential biomarker for advanced clinical parameters in human cancer.

Controlled dimerization of insulin-like growth factor-1 and insulin receptors reveals shared and distinct activities of holo and hybrid receptors.

TL;DR: The findings suggest that, when expressed and activated in mammary epithelial cells, HybR acts in a manner similar to IGF1R and support further investigation of the role of HyBR in breast cancer.
