Journal ArticleDOI

NGEP, a gene encoding a membrane protein detected only in prostate cancer and normal prostate

TL;DR: Immunocytochemical analysis of cells transfected with NGEP cDNAs containing a Myc epitope tag at the carboxyl terminus shows that the protein encoded by the short transcript is localized in the cytoplasm, whereas the protein encode by the long transcript is present on the plasma membrane.
Journal ArticleDOI

Drug-selected coexpression of human glucocerebrosidase and P-glycoprotein using a bicistronic vector.

TL;DR: The ability to select for expression of GC with natural product drugs after introduction of the pHaMCG retroviral vector may be useful in gene therapy strategies for Gaucher disease.
Journal ArticleDOI

Renaturation of a single-chain immunotoxin facilitated by chaperones and protein disulfide isomerase.

TL;DR: Under optimum conditions, reactivation yields in the presence of PDI were about twice that obtained with nonenzymatic disulfide bond formation, and DnaK andPDI were additive when renaturation was performed in the absence of both proteins.
