Angular coefficients of Z bosons produced in pp collisions at s=8 TeV and decaying to μ+μ- as a function of transverse momentum and rapidity

Vardan Khachatryan, +2192 more
- 12 Nov 2015 -
TL;DR: In this paper, measurements of the five most significant angular coefficients for Z bosons produced in pp collisions at root S = 8 TeV and decaying to mu(+)mu(-) are presented as a function of the transverse momentum and rapidity of the Z boson.
Journal ArticleDOI

A search for pair production of new light bosons decaying into muons

Vardan Khachatryan, +2295 more
- 10 Jan 2016 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for the pair production of new light bosons, each decaying into a pair of muons, is performed with the CMS experiment at the LHC, using a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 20.7 inverse femtobarns collected in proton-proton collisions at center-of-mass energy of sqrt(s) = 8 TeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for heavy, top-like quark pair production in the dilepton final state in pp collisions at √s=7 TeV

S. Chatrchyan, +2189 more
- 17 Sep 2012 -
TL;DR: In this article, the results of a search for pair production of a heavy, top-like quark, t', in the decay mode (t' anti-t') to (b anti-W anti-b W) to b anti-lepton neutrino anti -b lepton anti-neutrino) are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for pair-produced vectorlike B quarks in proton-proton collisions at √s = 8 TeV

Vardan Khachatryan, +2335 more
- 15 Jun 2016 -
TL;DR: In this article, a search for the production of a heavy B quark, having electric charge −1/3 and vector couplings to W, Z, and H bosons, is carried out using proton-proton collision data recorded at the CERN LHC by the CMS experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 19.7
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for two Higgs bosons in final states containing two photons and two bottom quarks in proton-proton collisions at 8 TeV

Vardan Khachatryan, +2279 more
- 29 Sep 2016 -
TL;DR: In this article, a search for the production of two Higgs bosons in final states containing two photons and two bottom quarks is presented, and upper limits are set at 95% confidence level on the production cross section of new particles and compared to the prediction for the existence of a warped extra dimension.
