Enantiomeric recognition of amino acid derivatives by chiral schiff bases of calix[4]arene

TL;DR: In this paper, the chiral receptors exhibit good chiral recognition ability towards α-amino acid ester hydrochlorides (up to K D / K L ǫ = 4.36, ΔΔG 0 Â−− 3.65 ÂkJ Âmol −1 ) in CHCl 3, and the molecular recognition abilities and enantioselectivities for guests are also discussed from a thermodynamic point of view.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and Extraction Study of Calix[4]arene Dinitrile Derivatives Incorporated in a Polymeric Backbone with Bisphenol-A

TL;DR: In this paper, two copolymers containing pendant calix[4]arene units with nitrile functionalities at their lower rim have been synthesized via nucleophilic substitution reactions involving 5,11,17,23-tetra-tert-butyl-25,27-bis(cyanomethoxy)-26,28-dihydroxy-calix(4)arene) with 1,5-dibromopentane and bisphenol-A.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for a standard model Higgs boson in the H -> ZZ -> l(+)l(-) nu(nu)over-bar decay channel using 4.7 fb(-1) of root s=7 TeV data with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2856 more
- 22 Oct 2012 -
TL;DR: In this article, a search for a Standard Model Higgs boson decaying via H -> ZZ -> l(+)l(-) nu(nu) over bar, where l represents electrons or muons, is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for direct chargino production in anomaly-mediated supersymmetry breaking models based on a disappearing-track signature in pp collisions at √s=7TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2945 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for direct chargino production in anomaly-mediated supersymmetry breaking scenarios is performed in p p collisions at root s = 7 TeV using 4.7 fb(-1) of data collected with the ATLAS experiment at the LHC.
Journal ArticleDOI

White Blood Cell Subtypes and Neutrophil–Lymphocyte Ratio in Prediction of Coronary Thrombus Formation in Non-ST-Segment Elevated Acute Coronary Syndrome

TL;DR: Evaluating the association of NLR with coronary thrombus in patients with non-ST-segment elevated ACSs found neutrophil count, platelet count, and NLR are significantly increased, and lymphocyte count is significantly decreased in the group with coronaryThrombus as compared to patient group without coronary Thrombus.
