Comprehensive measurements of t-channel single top-quark production cross sections at √s = 7 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2869 more
Journal ArticleDOI

ATLAS measurements of the properties of jets for boosted particle searches

Georges Aad, +2900 more
- 15 Oct 2012 -
TL;DR: In this article, the properties of high transverse momentum jets, produced in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of root s = 7 TeV, were compared to the expectations of Monte Carlo generators that match leading-logarithmic parton showers to leading-order or next-to-leading-order, matrix elements.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparative Studies on Phenolic Composition, Antioxidant, Wound Healing and Cytotoxic Activities of Selected Achillea L. Species Growing in Turkey

TL;DR: The results suggested that AK is a valuable source of flavonoids and chlorogenic acid with important antioxidant, wound healing and cytotoxic activities and warrant further studies to assess the potential of AK as a bioactive source that could be exploited in pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food industries.
Journal ArticleDOI

A search for flavour changing neutral currents in top-quark decays in $pp$ collision data collected with the ATLAS detector at $s=7$ TeV

Georges Aad, +2896 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for flavour changing neutral current (FCNC) processes in top-quark decays by the ATLAS Collaboration is presented, with one top quark decaying through the t -> Zq FCNC (q = u, c) channel, and the other through the Standard Model dominant mode t -> Wb.
Journal ArticleDOI

Differential top-antitop cross-section measurements as a function of observables constructed from final-state particles using pp collisions at s√=7 TeV in the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2920 more
TL;DR: In this article, various differential cross-sections are measured in top-quark pair (t (t) over bar) events produced in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of root s = 7 TeV at the LHC with the ATLAS detector.
