Properties of Geodesic Acoustic Modes and the Relation to Density Fluctuations

TL;DR: The poloidal distribution of GAM induced density fluctuation is reported on and the influence of the GAM flows on the ambient turbulence is studied, too.
Journal ArticleDOI

Overview of the JET results

Francesco Romanelli, +1104 more
- 27 Mar 2015 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a detailed analysis of the plasma-facing components of the day-one tungsten divertor in ITER-like wall has been carried out, showing that the pattern of deposition within the divertor has changed significantly with respect to the JET carbon wall campaigns due to the absence of thermally activated chemical erosion of beryllium in contrast to carbon.
Journal ArticleDOI

Summary of experimental core turbulence characteristics in ohmic and electron cyclotron resonance heated discharges in T-10 tokamak plasmas

TL;DR: In this article, the results of experimental turbulence investigations carried out at T-10 for more than 10 years were summarized using correlation reflectometry, multipin Langmuir probe (MLP) and heavy ion beam probe diagnostics.
Journal ArticleDOI

Status and prospects for mm-wave reflectometry in ITER

TL;DR: In this article, a set of reflectometers to meet the relevant ITER measurement requirements has been included in its present outline as part of the ITER design since 2001 and is being adapted to the present ITER baseline and to accommodate progress with reflectometry techniques and measurement capabilities.
