Rashba Spin–Orbit Coupling Enhanced Carrier Lifetime in CH3NH3PbI3

TL;DR: This work proposes an intrinsic mechanism for enhanced carrier lifetime in three-dimensional (3D) Rashba materials and demonstrates that the recombination rate is reduced due to the spin-forbidden transition.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ferroelectric Domain Wall Induced Band Gap Reduction and Charge Separation in Organometal Halide Perovskites

TL;DR: It is found that organometal halide perovskites can form both charged and uncharged domain walls due to the flexible orientational order of the organic molecules, and charged domain walls can serve as segregated channels for the motions of charge carriers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Shift current bulk photovoltaic effect in polar materials—hybrid and oxide perovskites and beyond

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors survey the history, development and recent progress in understanding the mechanisms of the bulk photovoltaic effect (BPVE), with a focus on the shift current mechanism, an intrinsic BPVE that is universal to all materials lacking inversion symmetry.
Journal ArticleDOI

High Chloride Doping Levels Stabilize the Perovskite Phase of Cesium Lead Iodide

TL;DR: It is shown that chloride doping, particularly at levels near the solubility limit for chloride in a cesium lead iodide host, provides a new approach to stabilizing the functional perovskite phase, and low-energy pathways for interstitial chlorine diffusion into a majority-iodide lattice were identified, consistent with the facile diffusion and fast halide exchange reactions observed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of inclusive jet and dijet production in pp collisions at root s=7 TeV using the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +3059 more
- 24 Jul 2012 -
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) to measure inclusive jet and dijet cross sections in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV using the anti-kT algorithm.
