Search for W Boson Decays to Three Charged Pions

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2276 more
TL;DR: Proton-proton collision data recorded by the CMS experiment at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 77.3 fb^{-1], have been analyzed and no significant excess is observed above the background expectation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Using Z Boson Events to Study Parton-Medium Interactions in Pb-Pb Collisions.

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2284 more
TL;DR: The spectra measurements of charged hadrons produced in the shower of a parton originating in the same hard scattering with a leptonically decaying Z boson are reported in lead-lead nuclei (Pb-Pb) and proton-proton (pp) collisions at a nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy of 5.02-TeV as discussed by the authors .
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of neutral strange particle production in the underlying event in proton-proton collisions at √s=7 TeV

S. Chatrchyan, +2190 more
- 03 Sep 2013 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the average multiplicity and average scalar transverse momentum sum of K0S and Λ particles measured at pseudorapidities |η|<2 rise with increasing charged-particle jet pT in the range 1-10 ǫ/c and saturate in the region 10-50 ǔ/c.

Study of dijet events with a large rapidity gap between the two leading jets in pp collisions at s√=7 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2208 more
TL;DR: In this article, Proskuryakov et al. studied events with no charged particles produced between the two leading jets in proton-proton collisions at √ s = 7 TeV and showed that the fraction of events with such a rapidity gap, amounting to 0.5-1% of the selected dijet sample, is measured as a function of the pT of the secondleading jet and of the rapidity separation between the jets.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of prompt D-0 and D-0 meson azimuthal anisotropy and search for strong electric fields in PbPb collisions at root S-NN=5.02 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2373 more
- 10 May 2021 -
TL;DR: In this article, the strong Coulomb field created in ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions is expected to produce a rapidity-dependent difference ( Δv2 ) in the second Fourier coefficient of the azimuthal distribution (elliptic flow, v2 ) between D0 ( uc ) and D´0( uc) mesons.
