TL;DR: The Structures, Materials, and Mechanisms Panel was divided into four basic categories that fit the overall responsibilities of the panel: materials, mechanisms, structural design, and analysis.
Abstract: Structures, materials, and mechanisms is one of the older technologies in the aerospace business. The Structures, Materials, and Mechanisms Panel was divided into the four basic categories that fit the overall responsibilities of the panel: materials, mechanisms, structural design, and analysis.

TL;DR: In this article, a method and gesture-based control system for manipulating a 3D medical dataset include translating a body part, detecting the translation of the body part with a camera system.
Abstract: A method and gesture-based control system for manipulating a 3-dimensional medical dataset include translating a body part, detecting the translation of the body part with a camera system. The method and system include translating a crop plane in the 3-dimensional medical dataset based on the translating the body part. The method and system include cropping the 3-dimensional medical dataset at the location of the crop plane after translating the crop plane and displaying the cropped 3-dimensional medical dataset using volume rendering.

TL;DR: Ions were used as mobile, membrane-bound carriers for selected gas species, these being introduced as the counter ions in ion-exchange membranes as mentioned in this paper, which could be useful in practical gas separations, giving longer operating life under certain adverse conditions.
