07 Jul 2019TL;DR: Parrinello et al. as discussed by the authors generalized the classical coded caching setting to a more general shared cache scheme and derived the exact expression for the worst case rate, where the demands are not distinct.
Abstract: Classical coded caching setting avails each user to have one dedicated cache. This is generalized to a more general shared cache scheme and the exact expression for the worst case rate was derived in [E. Parrinello, A. Unsal, P. Elia, " Fundamental Limits of Caching in Heterogeneous Networks with Uncoded Prefetching," available on arXiv:1811.06247 [cs.IT], Nov. 2018]. For this case, an optimal linear error correcting delivery scheme is proposed and an expression for the peak rate is established for the same. Furthermore, a new delivery scheme is proposed, which gives an improved rate for the case when the demands are not distinct.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a new differential relaying scheme for a mutually coupled, double circuit transmission line in presence of UPFC in the line, where the process starts at retrieving the three phase current signals at both ends of the transmission line synchronously and processing it through the time-frequency transform such as Fast Discrete S-Transform to derive the spectral energy content of the current signals.

TL;DR: An emphasis is initially on relay-base cooperation, relying on network coding, followed by the design of cross-layer cooperative protocols conceived for MS cooperation and the concept of coalition network element (CNE)-assisted BS cooperation.
Abstract: In recent years, there has been an upsurge of research interest in cooperative wireless communications in both academia and industry. This article presents a simple overview of the pivotal topics in both mobile station (MS)- and base station (BS)- assisted cooperation in the context of cellular radio systems. Owing to the ever-increasing amount of literature in this particular field, this article is by no means exhaustive, but is intended to serve as a roadmap by assembling a representative sample of recent results and to stimulate further research. The emphasis is initially on relay-base cooperation, relying on network coding, followed by the design of cross-layer cooperative protocols conceived for MS cooperation and the concept of coalition network element (CNE)-assisted BS cooperation. Then, a range of complexity and backhaul traffic reduction techniques that have been proposed for BS cooperation are reviewed. A more detailed discussion is provided in the context of MS cooperation concerning the pros and cons of dispensing with high-complexity, power-hungry channel estimation. Finally, generalized design guidelines, conceived for cooperative wireless communications, are presented.

TL;DR: In this paper, the first observation of doublystrange baryon (Xi(1620)^0$ ) decay was reported, where the mass and width were measured to be 1610.4 and 59.5 cm, respectively.
Abstract: We report the first observation of the doubly-strange baryon $\Xi(1620)^0$ in its decay to $\Xi^-\pi^+$ via $\Xi_c^+ \rightarrow \Xi^- \pi^+ \pi^+$ decays based on a $980\,{\rm fb}^{-1}$ data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+ e^-$ collider. The mass and width are measured to be 1610.4 $\pm$ 6.0 (stat) $^{+5.9}_{-3.5}$ (syst)~MeV$/c^2$ and 59.9 $\pm$ 4.8 (stat) $^{+2.8}_{-3.0}$ (syst)~MeV, respectively. We obtain 4.0$\sigma$ evidence of the $\Xi(1690)^0$ with the same data sample. These results shed light on the structure of hyperon resonances with strangeness $S=-2$.
