TL;DR: In this article, a review of donor/acceptor functionalized DPPs is presented and compared with their properties in terms of optoelectronic properties in relation to structural changes such as changes of the end capping groups, donor-acceptor moieties, aromatic moiety in the DPP core and number of DPP units in the molecular structure.
Abstract: After the development of diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) in 1974, its derivatives have been widely explored for optoelectronic applications. In this review we discuss various donor/acceptor functionalized DPPs which have been recently published and systematically compare their properties. The modification of donor functionalized DPPs to tetracyanobutadiene (TCBD) bridged derivatives with improved acceptor strength and absorption in the near infra-red region has shown some exciting advancement in non-fullerene acceptors for organic solar cells and therapeutic agents in photothermal therapy and these are also described. The optoelectronic properties in relation to structural changes such as changes of the end capping groups, donor–acceptor moieties, aromatic moiety in the DPP core and number of DPP units in the molecular structure are discussed. We are expecting that the current review will provide guidelines for the exploration of new DPP based efficient materials for photovoltaic and biomedical applications.

TL;DR: In this paper, the thermal performance of a MCNT/water charged heatpipe with phase change material (PCM) as energy storage material (ESM) for electronic cooling was reported.
Abstract: The paper reports the thermal performance of a nanofluid (MCNT/water) charged heatpipe with phase change material (PCM) as energy storage material (ESM) for electroniccooling. The adiabatic section of heat pipe is covered by the PCM stored in a containermade of acrylic material. Here, paraffin is used as PCM. PCM can absorb and releasethermal energy depending upon the fluctuations in the heating load. Tests are conductedto obtain the temperature distributions in PCM during charge/discharge processes. Pres-ent study utilizes two different ESM (water and paraffin), different fan speeds and heatingpowers in the PCM cooling module. The cooling module with heat pipe and paraffin asESM found to save higher fan power consumption compared to the cooling module thatutilities only a heat pipe. TL;DR: The developmental biology model of Caenorhabditis elegans analyzed here provides a ripe platform to understand the patterns of evolution during the life stages of an organism.
Abstract: Molecular networks act as the backbone of cellular activities, providing an excellent opportunity to understand the developmental changes in an organism. While network data usually constitute only stationary network graphs, constructing a multilayer PPI network may provide clues to the particular developmental role at each stage of life and may unravel the importance of these developmental changes. The developmental biology model of Caenorhabditis elegans analyzed here provides a ripe platform to understand the patterns of evolution during the life stages of an organism. In the present study, the widely studied network properties exhibit overall similar statistics for all the PPI layers. Further, the analysis of the degree-degree correlation and spectral properties not only reveals crucial differences in each PPI layer but also indicates the presence of the varying complexity among them. The PPI layer of the nematode life stage exhibits various network properties different to the rest of the PPI layers, indicating the specific role of cellular diversity and developmental transitions at this stage. The framework presented here provides a direction to explore and understand the developmental changes occurring in the different life stages of an organism.

TL;DR: The high-precision data at low relative momenta presented in this work prove femtoscopy to be a powerful complementary tool to scattering experiments and provide new constraints above the K[over ¯]N threshold for low-energy QCD chiral models.
Abstract: The study of the strength and behavior of the antikaon-nucleon (¯KN) interaction constitutes one of the key focuses of the strangeness sector in low-energy quantum chromodynamics (QCD). In this Letter a unique high-precision measurement of the strong interaction between kaons and protons, close and above the kinematic threshold, is presented. The femtoscopic measurements of the correlation function at low pair-frame relative momentum of (K+p⊕K−¯p) and (K−p⊕K+¯p) pairs measured in pp collisions at √s=5, 7, and 13 TeV are reported. A structure observed around a relative momentum of 58 MeV/c in the measured correlation function of (K−p⊕K+¯p) with a significance of 4.4σ constitutes the first experimental evidence for the opening of the (¯K0n⊕K0¯n) isospin breaking channel due to the mass difference between charged and neutral kaons. The measured correlation functions have been compared to Julich and Kyoto models in addition to the Coulomb potential. The high-precision data at low relative momenta presented in this work prove femtoscopy to be a powerful complementary tool to scattering experiments and provide new constraints above the ¯KN threshold for low-energy QCD chiral models.
