TL;DR: A domain-independent computational model of emotions for intelligent agent that have modules for emotion elicitation, emotion regulation, and emotion transition is proposed that is built on some well-known psychological theories.
Abstract: Abstract Emotions play a significant role in human cognitive processes such as attention, motivation, learning, memory, and decision making. Many researchers have worked in the field of incorporating emotions in a cognitive agent. However, each model has its own merits and demerits. Moreover, most studies on emotion focus on steady-state emotions than emotion switching. Thus, in this article, a domain-independent computational model of emotions for intelligent agent is proposed that have modules for emotion elicitation, emotion regulation, and emotion transition. The model is built on some well-known psychological theories such as appraisal theories of emotions, emotion regulation theory, and multistore human memory model. The design of the model is using the concept of fuzzy logic to handle uncertain and subjective information. The main focus is on primary emotions as suggested by Ekman; however, simultaneous elicitation of multiple emotions (called secondary emotion) is also supported by the model.

TL;DR: Using available video watermarking tools, variation in size of video has been analyzed and it is claimed that SSIM results are more accurate as it is closer to the results obtained during subjective quality analysis.
Abstract: Rapid growth in sharing information using internet technologies laid the threats of copyright protection for digital multimedia contents. One of the remedy for intellectual property protection is Watermarking. This paper deals with numerous available digital video watermarking techniques and raised the issue of quality and size of watermarked video. Through experimental study, it has been shown that available quality metrics like, Peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) and Structural similarity index (SSIM) are incapable to deal efficiently to analyze the quality degradation but out of two it has been claimed that SSIM results are more accurate as it is closer to the results obtained during subjective quality analysis. Further, using available video watermarking tools, variation in size of video has been analyzed.

TL;DR: It is shown how Clifford+T circuits can efficiently be mapped into the two IBM quantum computers with 5 qubits and shown that the optimized circuits can considerably reduce the gate count and number of levels and thus produce results with better fidelity.
Abstract: IBM has made several quantum computers available to researchers around the world via cloud services. Two architectures with five qubits, one with 16, and one with 20 qubits are available to run experiments. The IBM architectures implement gates from the Clifford+T gate library. However, each architecture only implements a subset of the possible CNOT gates. In this paper, we show how Clifford+T circuits can efficiently be mapped into the two IBM quantum computers with 5 qubits. We further present an algorithm and a set of circuit identities that may be used to optimize the Clifford+T circuits in terms of gate count and number of levels. It is further shown that the optimized circuits can considerably reduce the gate count and number of levels and thus produce results with better fidelity.
