TL;DR: A new manufacturing system, i.e. humanised FMS suitable to Indian industrial and social environment has been proposed in this paper and Analytic hierarchy process methodology has been utilised for the justification.
Abstract: To meet the challenges imposed by today’s dynamic market conditions, it is the right time for the manufacturing companies to transit from traditional manufacturing system to advance manufacturing system such as computer numerical control (CNC), flexible manufacturing system (FMS) and computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) systems. CNC, FMS and CIM are very well-known terms in the manufacturing world. Developed countries have adopted and used all these manufacturing systems in their industries. Developing countries like India have used CNC technology in their plants but are reluctant to opt for the next phase of advance manufacturing system, i.e. FMS or CIM due to their high cost and heavy risk associated with them. Hence, a new manufacturing system, i.e. humanised FMS suitable to Indian industrial and social environment has been proposed in this paper. Analytic hierarchy process methodology has been utilised for the justification of this new manufacturing concept.

TL;DR: The proposed technique of managing uncertainty in agile reduces uncertainty by reducing the size of the user-story to be estimated, which leads to poor estimation of time and cost.
Abstract: Agile methodologies for software development take a novel, lightweight approach to most aspects of designing and producing applications. Agile software development is an iterative development method. Its basic concept is people - centered and it acknowledges that requirements can change. Due to changing nature of Agile size of user-story is not certain and also new user-stories can be added or existing user-stories can be removed. This creates uncertainty in agile project that leads to poor estimation of time and cost. The proposed technique of managing uncertainty in agile reduces uncertainty by reducing the size of the user-story to be estimated.

TL;DR: Architecture is being proposed that introduces a technique to continuously update/refresh the Hidden Web repository based on probability of updation of the web page.
Abstract: Hidden Web’s broad and relevant coverage of dynamic and high quality contents coupled with the high change frequency of web pages poses a challenge for maintaining and fetching up-to-date information. For the purpose, it is required to verify whether a web page has been changed or not, which is another challenge. Therefore, a mechanism needs to be introduced for adjusting the time period between two successive revisits based on probability of updation of the web page. In this paper, architecture is being proposed that introduces a technique to continuously update/refresh the Hidden Web repository.

TL;DR: A mathematical model using the graph theory and matrix method is developed to evaluate the performance of a gas based CCPP to help improve performance, design, maintenance planning, and selection of new power generation systems.
Abstract: The performance of a combined cycle power plant (CCPP) and cost of electricity generation per unit is a function of its basic structure (i.e., layout and design), availability (maintenance aspects), efficiency (trained manpower and technically advanced equipments), cost of equipments and maintenance, pollutants emission and other regulatory aspects. Understanding of its structure will help in the improvement of performance, design, maintenance planning, and selection of new power generation systems. A mathematical model using the graph theory and matrix method is developed to evaluate the performance of a gas based CCPP. In the graph theoretic model, a directed graph or digraph is used to represent abstract information of the system using directed edges, which is useful for visual analysis. The matrix model developed from the digraph is useful for computer processing. Detailed methodology for developing a system structure graph, various system structure matrices, and their permanent functions are described for the combined cycle power plant. A top–down approach for complete analysis of CCPP is given.

TL;DR: The architectural complexity of IoT technologies, protocol stacks, limitations of IoT nodes, renumbering, multihoming, the merging of IoT network and other challenges towards assigning of IPv6 address to IoT nodes are highlighted.
Abstract: As IPv4 addresses are already exhausted before the beginning of Internet of Thing (IoT), IPv6 is widely used to assign unique identity to IoT nodes. In this article, the analysis of different components required in assigning IPv6 addresses to IoT nodes, a survey of IPv6 address assignment schemes and an examination of the different kinds of IPv6 addresses are presented. This article highlights the architectural complexity of IoT technologies, protocol stacks, limitations of IoT nodes, renumbering, multihoming, the merging of IoT network and other challenges towards assigning of IPv6 address to IoT nodes. A comprehensive survey on recent addressing schemes with classification based on allocation tables and spatial information are presented. This survey describes the address allocation mechanism, performance on different metrics, the area of applicability, and the merits and demerits of different addressing schemes. It also describes the future research options addressing IoT.
