TL;DR: In this paper, the applications of nickel-titanium alloy in various field of engineering, medical and other area is discussed and the attractive properties of NiTi alloy has also been discussed that makes it most influential material for various applications.
Abstract: Nitinol exists in equiatomic phase of nickel-titanium (Ni-Ti). Nitinol has various applications in biomedical, automotive actuators, micro-electromechanical systems (MEMSs) and aero-space industries due to its distinctive properties of pseudo-elasticity, bio-compatibility, corrosion resistance and shape memory effect. This paper presents the applications of nickel-titanium alloy in various field of engineering, medical and other area. The attractive properties of NiTi alloy has also been discussed that makes it most influential material for various applications.

TL;DR: In this paper, a graph theoretic approach is proposed to evaluate the machinability of tungsten carbide composite, and the effect of several factors and their subfactors are analyzed by developing a mathematical model using digraph and matrix method.
Abstract: Machinability aspect is of considerable importance for efficient process planning in manufacturing. Machinability of an engineering material may be evaluated in terms of the process output variables like material removal rate, processed surface finish, cutting forces, tool life, specific power consumption, etc. In this paper, graph theoretic approach (GTA) is proposed to evaluate the machinability of tungsten carbide composite. Material removal rate is considered as a machinability attribute of tungsten carbide to evaluate the effect of several factors and their subfactors. Factors affecting the machinability and their interactions are analyzed by developing a mathematical model using digraph and matrix method. Permanent function or machinability index is obtained from the matrix model developed from the digraphs. This index value helps in quantifying the influence of considered factors on machinability. In the present illustration, factors affecting machinability of tungsten carbide are grouped into five broad factors namely work material, machine tool, tool electrode, cutting conditions, and geometry to be machined. GTA methodology reveals that the machine tool has highest index value. Therefore, it is the most influencing factor affecting machinability.

TL;DR: A review on applications, manufacturing NiTi alloy and its various production routes from conventional to rapid prototyping, porous NiTi, effect of additives on properties of the alloy, and its challenges is presented in this article.
Abstract: Nitinol (NiTi) is categorized as a smart material which is highly recognized material for medical and other engineering applications. The behaviour of NiTi can be modified by altering the composition, modifying the porosity and applying external thermal and mechanical treatment. Due to high composition sensitivity, there are several impediments in fabrication of NiTi with conventional techniques which impel the use of additive manufacturing methods. But due to very high cost of equipments, these processes have not been commercialized till now. This paper presents a review on applications, manufacturing NiTi alloy and its various production routes from conventional to rapid prototyping, porous NiTi, effect of additives on properties of the alloy and its challenges.

TL;DR: This paper is an effect to provide the detailed survey of various technology and methods to provide polarity of sentiments and compares the two tools available for sentiment analysis and highlights their effectiveness.
Abstract: With www expanding its reach to anything and everything related to our daily lives, people are becoming more and more vocal to express their views or ideas on online portals, blogs etc. So there is a million of reviews for a product. As a result, it becomes difficult to track the opinions of customers. Sentiment analysis finds the subjective information from the source data by using natural language processing. There are many techniques available to classify the polarity of opinions. This paper is an effect to provide the detailed survey of various technology and methods to provide polarity of sentiments. Lastly, the paper also compares the two tools available for sentiment analysis and highlights their effectiveness in doing so.
